I don't know why but that sounds funny

Name changes should be supported once all of the servers on AEM update. I hope that they can be updated soon, but it takes time to do that, so be patient!

You may want to read the TOS you agreeded to upon donating to AEM.
"All sales are final, you may not buyback, stop, credit the server by any means necessary in order to receive your funds back that of which have been paid. And in doing so we reserve the right to disallow your continued play on the server/forums and not allow further funds to be added or taken away. If you change your name,

• You will lose leadership of your island so you will never be able to invite/kick players from your island. The only way you will be able to edit it is if a staff member adds you to the island, but you will only be added as a member of your island, you WILL NOT be the leader.
• We cannot mess with the old name since once you change it, it will no longer exist.
• Your island WILL NOT be world edited to a different area so you can be leader again.
• You might lose your in-game rank. It WILL NOT be replaced or refunded as said above.
• You might lose your inventory/enderchest.
• ...Still more things to figure out.

Don't change your name unless you are okay with any of this happening to you.

I thought it was a possibility to change your name back to the original within a time period of 37 days I believe it ways (Note: I didn't change my name lel)

It is an option, they hold your old name for 37 days just in case you change your mind.

But I mean, who really reads those, right? People need to start paying attention to what they're agreeing to before they throw their money around.

Ok. Well thanks for the info. Maybe they have it set up so that when you join servers, i tkeeps yourbold username info and when you visit a server, itntransfers all yur stuff to your new username. I dont know. Like my username is Voyagerbrothers. And i change it to VoyagerSisters. Lol. I am just thinking of examples. Maybe, when i get on a server, it thinks, Oh! Thry changed their username. Better transfer their info to their new account. Any ideas? Post em!

There is definite ways to support name changes, though through the changes that AEM is undergoing currently, there hasn't been time to change to those in the short time of announcement.
