Will 'new' (from a 1.8 frame of reference) things like elytra be purchasable? Also, the first person to find a treasure enchanted book trade should profit quite nicely (or so I predict).
Tbh I've only ever played 1.8 when I have to cuz 1.7pvp is way better, so I have no clue about 1.9 and upwards. Someone inform me????
1.9 ruins pvp by adding an attack timer. If you attack during the cooldown, you do minimal damage. Axes also have more damage, but almost twice the cooldown of a sword. Gold Apples have been nerfed, and armor has been nerfed. Sharpness and Protection have also been nerfed. You get hungry faster, but natural healing is fast. The end has been updated, with new biomes and structures.
Though I don't pvp, I don't think adding a CD timer to your attacks ruins PvP. But that's a discussion for another thread. Hopefully elytra will be appear as a non-status symbol item, I'm already busy thinking of all the minigames that can come out of having people flying around with them...
I'm not very clued up on the Minecraft updates, is the new Skyblock going to be the latest version of Minecraft?
Will all servers be updated to 1.11.2, or will we have to [Nintendo] switch out Minecraft versions to ensure the best result?
We're in the process of updating the network (can't say much about PvP related servers yet) to 1.11.2. Creative was the first to see this update and is now in 1.11.2, but you can still log in with previous versions! #fireworkrelytra
Suggestion: can u add something pvp realated to this thing for the people like me who have noone to pvp atm
Did a bit of digging around to try and sort out 281x281 island sizes but it would seem as if our main skyblock plugin doesn't support uneven numbers in the protection ranges. We're forced to fall back to 280x280 island sizes. Nether and End worlds on all the servers will be pvp.
I thought this was a good idea at first but wouldn't the new players and low ranks be at a huge disadvantage and would be harassed much more by higher ranks?
Regular players would be able to get just as much as donators with a little effort, also most people won't be going to the end or nether until later down the line as they build up and complete certain challenges.
