EcoCityCraft Jobs and Quests
EcoCityCraft maintains a unique Jobs and Quests system. These systems are designed to provide you, as a player more opportunities to earn EcoDollars for playing the game and an opportunity to trade points for valuables items and achievements within the game.

EcoCityCraft Jobs(top)

Jobs on EcoCityCraft are a way to earn more EcoDollars for specific game actions that you perform. There are both rank-progressive jobs where when you rank up with in-game ranks you get access to more jobs. There are also jobs that pay more for certain actions/specific grinds. As you rank up you will get access to specialized jobs that will pay even MORE for specific grinds/actions/gathering of blocks.

Jobs Levels(top)

Jobs once joined can be leveled up by performing the actions that the job accepts. You can view those actions on any job with /jobs info <jobname>.
Job levels are progressive, each level will take more exp, or actions to level up than the previous one and it scales fairly quickly.
Job income is also progressive, the more you level up the job the more you will be paid for each action within that job.
Income and Job Points across multiple jobs will stack. This means if you are joined to both the Novice Miner and Apprentice Miner jobs you will receive payment from both jobs when you perform the required actions.
Job levels persist even when you are not joined to that job. You can leave and rejoin jobs and retain your level progression. You will only earn income/points and exp for leveling when you are joined to the job.

Max Jobs(top)

Each rank has a limited number of jobs they can join. You can rank up to increase your max jobs limit all the way until President.
If you want to do a job and you are maxed out, you will need to leave a current job to be able to join a new job.

Max Job Limits
  • Builder: 3 Jobs
  • Resident: 5 Jobs
  • Mayor: 8 Jobs
  • President: 12 Jobs

Magic Tools and Jobs(top)

Some Magic Tools will not currently be compatible with the jobs action requirements. Here we will maintain a list of tools that you avoid using if you wish to level up your jobs.

Magic Shovel:
  • Similar to Magic Shovel not giving mcMMO exp, it also will not provide income/points/exp when used for job actions.
Magic Shears:
  • Some jobs have sheep shearing as a payable action, Magic Shears do not provide income on sheep or from collecting honey products from bees.
Magic Axe:
  • Magic Axe in the Tree Feller modes will not provide income/points/exp when used for job actions.
  • If you use the Magic Axe in Regular Mode with the mcMMO Tree Feller you will earn income, but at at 20% rate (This is due to how many blocks Tree Feller breaks quickly). The mcMMO Tree Feller partial income also will apply to Normal/Star Axes used with mcMMO Tree Feller.
