Bedrock Compatibility
EcoCityCraft is compatible with the Bedrock Edition and can be played on Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android, as well as on PC. Although EcoCityCraft is primarily a Java server, you can connect to and play on ECC from any Bedrock platform. However, without a premium Java account, you will not be able to enjoy EcoCityCraft to its fullest potential

EcoCityCraft can be connected to via the following IP's
  • Java Edition: web.ecc.eco
  • Bedrock Edition: web.ecc.eco Port: 19132

Bedrock Limitations(top)

There are several limitations in the EcoCityCraft game if you do not link it with a Java account.

Chestshops:

Chestshops are a major part of the economy in the game server, serving as the main system for buying and selling items. Unfortunately, unlinked Bedrock accounts are unable to interact with Chestshops. This limitation is due to the Chestshop system's incompatibility with Bedrock UUIDs.

GUI Menus:
Due to visual differences between Bedrock and Java, you may encounter issues when viewing text on the '/helpme' menus and '/townwarps.' This is simply a cross-platform visual incompatibility, as the interfaces are designed primarily for Java clients.

As always, we highly recommend playing EcoCityCraft using a Java client for the optimal experience. However, you are welcome to continue playing via Bedrock as well.

Server Store:
Due to how our server store is setup, it is not possible to purchase features for a bedrock account. This is unlikely to change and we highly recommend linking up with a Java account if you are interested in getting Supporter Features for your account.

Linking Bedrock to Java(top)

To fully enjoy your ECC experience, you should link your Bedrock account to your Java account. Once this is done, you will be able to play with your Java account on any Bedrock platform.

The first step is to get yourself a Java account.

BEFORE YOU LINK:
  • Please understand that linking to a Java account will replace your Bedrock account with your Java account. As a result, any money, items, armor, and similar possessions on the Bedrock account will be lost. To prevent loss, make sure to store your items in a chest or another placed container. Additionally, consider converting your money into items or ask a trusted user to hold your money for you. Staff members will be more than happy to assist with this process.
  • You will lose access to any plots you own. Simply request to be re-added.
  • You will lose your homes. Simply ask for assistance in relocating them.
  • We recommend that you first establish yourself on ECC using a Java account before linking to Bedrock. If you are established on ECC first, all your items/money/features will be accessible from Bedrock once linked. However, we understand that some players primarily use Bedrock, and therefore the following instructions should help in transferring to a Java account.

Minecraft PC Edition(top)

If you own Minecraft PC Edition, you already have access to both Java and Bedrock editions. To link your Bedrock account to your Java account, simply follow the instructions provided here: https://link.geysermc.org/method/server.
Once linked, you can play ECC from any device that supports Bedrock!

Bedrock Console Editions(top)

If you have purchased Minecraft only on Xbox or PlayStation, then you do not have the Java Edition and must purchase it separately.
Visit https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/store/minecraft-deluxe-collection-pc to make your purchase. Ensure that you log into your Microsoft Live account (the same as your Xbox Live account) on the Mojang site and complete the purchase under your account.
Once you have done this, you will own a copy of Java Edition. You must then run Minecraft on Java, select a username, and log into EcoCityCraft at least once.
Then follow the instructions here to link: https://link.geysermc.org/method/online

If you do not have access to a PC:

You can utilize the ChatCraft app, available here: https://chatcraft.app/, and log into ECC (web.ecc.eco) at least once to ensure you have a Java profile with us. Once you have completed these steps, you can link your Bedrock account to your Java account by following these instructions: https://link.geysermc.org/method/online

Once you are linked you will be able to enjoy ECC to the fullest!
