Bedrock Compatibility
EcoCityCraft is compatible with Bedrock and can be played from Xbox, Playstation, Nintendo Switch, iOS and Android as well as PC Edition Bedrock! EcoCityCraft is a Java server. You may connect to and play ECC from any bedrock platform. However without a premium Java account you will not be able to enjoy EcoCityCraft to the fullest.

Bedrock Limitations:
There are a few ways you will be limited on the EcoCityCraft game if you do not link up with a Java account.
Forum Access:
ECC Forums will only accept usernames of Java minecraft accounts. You will not be able to register with your Bedrock username.
Not having a forum account will limit the following game aspects:
  • Rank Ups, Towns, Game Progression and Achievements
    • Our entire rank up and achievement system is forum banned. You will need a forum account that links to your game account.
  • Forum Bank
    • Forum Bank is where you can safely store your money.
  • Access to various content such as Help/Support, Classifieds and all other forum content.
    • The forums is primarily where you can access help/support or file for bugs or read other content regarding ECC gameplay.
Chestshops:
Chestshops are a major part of the economy game on the game server as our main buying/selling system for items. Unfortunately unlinked Bedrock accounts are unable to interact with Chestshops, this is because the Chestshop system is not compatible with Bedrock UUID's.

Helpful Interfaces:
Due to to visual differences between Bedrock and Java you may experience some issues with viewing some of the text on the /helpme menus as well as /townwarps. This is simply a cross-platform visual incompatibility. The interfaces are built for Java clients.

As always we highly recommend playing EcoCityCraft from a Java client for the best experience. You are welcome to continue playing via Bedrock as well.

Linking Bedrock to Java:
In order to enjoy your ECC experience to the fullest you should link your Bedrock account to your Java account. After this is done you will be able to play with your Java account on any bedrock platform.

The first step is to get yourself a Java account.

Bedrock Console:

If you have only purchased Minecraft on Xbox or Playstation then you do not have Java Edition and you must purchase Java Edition separately.

Make sure to log into your Microsoft Live (Same as Xbox Live) account on the Mojang site and make the purchase under your account. Once you have done this then you have a Java copy.
You must then run Minecraft on Java and select a username and then log into EcoCityCraft at least once.

If you do not have access to a PC:
You can utilize the ChatCraft app here: https://chatcraft.app/ and log-in into ECC (web.ecc.eco) at least once to ensure you have a Java profile with us.
Once you have done all that you can link your Bedrock account to your Java account via these instructions:

BEFORE YOU LINK:
  • Understand that linking to a Java account will replace your Bedrock account with your Java account. Any money, items/armor and such will be lost. Make sure to store your items in a chest/placed container, and store your money in items or ask a trusted user to hold your money (Staff preferably).
  • You will lose access to any plots you have - simply ask to be re-added.
  • You will lose your homes, simply ask for help in relocating your home
  • We recommend that you establish yourself on ECC via a Java account first before linking to Bedrock, however we understand that some players are primarily Bedrock and therefore the above instructions should help you transfer to a Java account.
Once you are linked you will be able to enjoy ECC to the fullest!
