  • You are able to apply to have your current town region/protection and your town build migrated to the new 1.18 Main and MainNorth maps.
  • Each application will start off with a region placement, then if you choose to migrate your town build it will be done later, generally during the off-peak hours. GameAdmin+ will add a chest-access deny flag during the process to prevent most theft right at the start.
  • This application is only for the towns/builds that are present on the Main and MainNorth maps from the current era, May 31st, 2021 - present.
  • If you are looking to transfer a build from pre-May 31st 2021, use this application: Archive World Edit Application
  • You may not change the size of the town.
  • You may not change the name of the town.
  • There are no restrictions for what sort of build you can migrate.
  • Chests and similar inventory blocks will migrate with your build.
  • Mobs, lecterns with books, player heads and headmaster heads, sign text and crops will migrate with your build.
  • Locks/LWC will not transfer with the town region/protection, this also goes with any sub-plots and flags.

Preparing for the Region/Protection Migration(top)

You must have readily available town posts outside your new town placement.
  • You must make 4 town posts on all edges of your town. These will be done with 4 signs.
  • Simply place them at the four corners of your town with "Town Name Post" on them.
  • They must form a square/rectangle the same size as your previous town.
  • This will help an owner mark your town! Important: They must be open to the sky! Even if your town is underground, these posts must no matter what be above ground open to the sky! Your town will be secured all the way up and down. (Post co-ordinates [x] [y] [z] of all posts.) - These posts can be deleted after your town is set-up and added.
  • You will need to include the coordinates in your application!

Preparing for the WorldEdit Build Migration(top)

  • You must place two signs at the corner of your cuboid selection that will be your WorldEdit transfer.
  • You must provide a town region on Rising for the build to be transferred into.
  • You must provide a facing direction for your copy and your paste.
At your Archive Town(Your "Copy"):
  • One sign must be placed at the bottom corner of your WorldEdit selection.
  • Your second sign must be placed at the top corner opposite of your bottom corner of your WorldEdit selection.
  • Your two sign posts must form a cuboid between them.
  • Your sign must be placed on top of a block, selections will be made using the sign. (see example below)
At your Rising Town(Your "Paste"):
  • One sign must be placed at the bottom corner of your WorldEdit selection.
  • Your second sign must be placed at the top corner opposite of your bottom corner of your WorldEdit selection.
  • Your two sign posts must form a cuboid between them.
  • Your signs must be placed on top of a block, selections will be made using the sign. (see example below)
Your selection may be up to a 200x200 selection on your X and Z axis. Your Y size in-between can be anywhere from bedrock to skylimit!
You may move your build up or down within the new town, you simply need to adjust your sign placements accordingly

This is a perfect example of how the selections will be made to help you decide where to place your signs.

Direction
  • When specifying your direction, you need to pick a facing and then check your F3 to determine which facing that is. This will apply to both your Archive and Rising selections.
  • You may rotate your build in this transfer.
    • If your build faces North on Archive, but you wish it to face East on the new 1.18 Main map you may do this.
    • Your post placements must reflect the rotation.
Example:

  • The direction is necessary to ensure that your selection is copied and placed properly and is referenced properly.
