ExtCreations Signs Tutorial (Outdated)

Lifts(top)

When you click a lift sign you will be teleported to another lift sign at a different Y coordinate, which means that all lift signs must be in a straight line if you want them to connect to each other.

First line(top)

This line is optional.

Write the name of the floor. When arriving at this sign a chat message will say Floor: Floorname; color codes can be used. If the line is left blank the chat message will read You went up/down a floor.

Second line(top)

Write [lift up] if you want to travel upwards to another lift sign. Write [lift down] if you want to travel downwards to another lift sign. Write [lift] if you want to create an arrival sign which you cannot depart from.

Third and fourth line(top)

This line is optional.

You can write anything here, for example an informative message which could inform users about the lift sign destination.

Doors and Bridges(top)

First line(top)

Do not write anything here.

Second line(top)

Doors(top)

Write [door up] if the sign is below the door or [door down] if the sign is above the door.

Bridges(top)

Write [bridge] on this line and continue with the next.

Third line(top)

This line is optional.

Write a number ranging from 0 to 5. This defines how many blocks to the left of the door/bridge are affected by it. This line will default to 1 if left blank.

Fourth line(top)

This line is optional.

Write a number ranging from 0 to 5. This defines how many blocks to the left of the door/bridge are affected by it. This line will default to 1 if left blank.

Bridges can be a max of 32 blocks in length inclusive. The blocks with the active signs on them also count as part of the bridge.

This line is optional.

You can define a required key here. Write the name of an item on this line. Right-clicking the block will not activate the sign unless the player is holding the specified item in their main hand.
