I have 2 mega gold farms in my island on top of each other. There were 2 people afk'ing in the afk spots overnight. It had been 10 hours straight and i joined the game excitedly because i was about to get 1000 levels worth of blocks. Guess what ? There were only 300 pigmen (when it was supposed to be like 24k-27k). - Visitor mob hurting is DISALLOWED. - 1 of the people afk'ed there was ALWAYS there and never moved (the other one disconnected for 10 seconds before i connected but that should NEVER be a problem). That person's spot is in distance of pigmen (it's 59 blocks above where pigmen are collected in) Island's Bedrock Location: -2400 , 115 , 3600 Gold farms are located around that bedrock, pigmen collecting area is right under the bedrock. I would appreciate it if you could do something about this INSANELY ANNOYING thing. I am literally very hardly controlling myself from giving up. I HAVE WORKED 5 DAYS FOR "THIS?" ????
Okay i think i know why this happened. there are 2 afk spots and the below one is the closest to where mobs are collected when there is someone and that person leaves, ALL pigmen despawn which should never happen because the person on top farm is already like 59 blocks close to pigmen! they should never despawn unless the person is 128 blocks away. NEVER. Can you please check this issue? I have just tested it and it seems true. Please fix it
@Awesomah There is a soft and hard despawn range. Soft: 28 Hard: 96 Soft: Distance in blocks from a player where mobs will be randomly removed. Hard: Distance where mobs will be removed immediately. These ranges will not be adjusted for anyone in anyway. If you are playing the “AFK” game you will have to alter your setup & habits. @pokeball92870 feel free to add these ranges to the wiki should you wish to and find it useful for players to know. TL;DR: There is no issue. Be more active or be closer to mobs.
