Well I've decided to go back to console gaming as well as PC gaming, but I need to decide whether I will buy the Xbox One S or the PS4. I used to own an Xbox One and I prefer the controller layout compared to the PS4. I am mainly looking for better graphics and better performance. Be sure to leave your opinions down below
haha yeah it should be off-topic should also mention- xbox x was apparently a failure and xbox s is only slightly better than xbox one, so its turning into one of those companies like apple where their newer products are just shinier versions of the old one
Honestly Im a massive PS4 fan, but i would say the most important thing would be what your friends are on. PS4 has great games, but it would suck if you have no friends to play them with.
Yeah, a lot of my friends have the xbox but a few still play on PS, I mean I wouldn't mind it if it had the same controller layout as the xbox.
the controller difference is so tiny that you'll get used to the PS one right away, ive played on both and haven't really noticed a change which i couldn't adapt to quickly.
I would go with whatever platform the majority of your friends play on, or whichever you think you will have more fun on. (PC gaming is best overall tho)
Sure, Xbox One S is only slightly better, but the Xbox One X f***ing destroys the original. It might have flopped but that doesn't change the fact that if you're going for the most powerful console the one to get is the X. Not to mention the fact that it's also significantly stronger than the PS4 Pro, and Microsoft is promising 60fps 4K gameplay. If you're sold on hardware, I'd go for Xbox One X even though it's $100 more. In short, it's undoubtedly the strongest console available. I'll admit games are better for PS4. Xbox One does have a few contenders, like Halo and Titanfall, but PS4 has Spiderman, The Last of Us, etc. Controller is better for Xbox One personally. I also got an Xbox One for backwards compatibility, and almost all of my Xbox 360 games are playable on it. Also it connects to my PC, which is pretty cool. Ultimately it comes down to friends. They're the biggest selling point. Finding communities is insanely easy on Xbox One with integrated clubs, so if you don't have friends yet there's that. I don't know much about PS in that regard.
Well i wasn’t too sure on the stats for these consoles but an xbox one x is the best of them all, I might see what that is like and look into it in more detail before I make a purchase, but thanks to everyone who’s helped so far
