Minecraft Username: Tamoch Brief Description: Mcmmo wood xp seems rather low Instructions: It just seems way lower than it should be. I have 8 rows of 16 oak trees each planted that I can hit with tree feller. They used to give me 2 level bumps up before the update. Now the new purple bar only goes up by about 1/5th the way How many times did you recreate this?: Almost a dozen times.
McMMO woodcutting XP generation is at the level it has always been. Insofar that it takes a longer time to level, this is probably due to the fact that as you level up, it requires more and more XP to reach the next level. Keep in mind that our McMMO XP generation levels around 1/10th of what it is on default McMMO.
Evidence: Using Treefeller on my grove of trees yields 2,876 xp going to woodcutting. Just doing regular chopping on my grove of trees, once they grew again, yields 20,416 xp! This was enough to take me from level 542 to level 544 in woodcutting. So you can see that the xp amount from treefeller is way down from where it was before the update. I used screenshots to do the calculations. I would include them but for some reason it won't let me upload.
@andrewkm XP generation is 20% lower on MN than SB (8 vs 10 per log) but both overall are roughly 1/10th of default generation. This matches up with where it's always been.
For clarification. Is there filer saying that the exp drop rate over all is wrong, or just when you use treefeller vs manually cutting them down?
Hi Furiuos, it is the xp you get from using treefeller that is not giving the correct xp, at least for me. XP from treefeller is about 1/10th the xp you get from normal chopping. Due to me having the Mcmmo feat, can anyone verify this who doesn't have the Mcmmo xp feat? I just want to rule that out of the equation as well. Thanks.
@andrewkm EXP gained from tree feller is substantially lower compared to what one would gain from destroying all those logs one-by-one on both Skyblock and Main. Doesn't seem to be related to the McMMO revamp.
