Is there a legacy or rising world map, if so does it include towns names/location?
Second Im half way to mayor and starting to plan things for fun...is there a way to avoid bad lag when planning the town?

In most towns, I doubt you'll get much lag. Most structures are very unlikely to cause it, unless it is a large cocoa bean farm, etc.

As for lag...was thinking about a farm...and the few ive been to seem pretty laggy making it hard to farm non cocoa/melon products -

Ask around, some farms are built to prevent lag (less flowing water ect.)
