Introduction Me and minecraft was a whole coincidence. One day, in math class, I heard some people at the table near me talk about "minecraft". I had no idea what it was, so I wrote it down, and googled it when I got home. I first got a cracked version of it, because I didn't know if mc was worth it. I made a giant blue and aqua house in creative mode, not knowing it was diamond and lapis, two rare blocks, I just thought it was pretty. My first encounter with hostile mobs was, creepers were spawning in my beautiful house! I had no idea what to do, and I ended up lighting the house in red stone torches. I got bored and tried survival mode, but didn't know how to survive. To shorten this tale up, I watched a how to survive your first night in minecraft, and I built a stone cave. I had NO idea how to get iron, so I googled how to find iron xD. After a week or so in single player, I duplicated all the diamonds in my chest and got bored . . On my path to success! I eavesdropped on the kids at school again, and learned about multiplayer servers you can play on. I googled minecraft servers and this was one of the first servers. I can't say this was my first server, but the first I stayed on longer than 3 minutes. I thought it was stupid, because I would go mining just to somehow die from fire while towering out of my mine hole. (This was back in the day when iron was much cheaper and I would make iron pick axes) I didn't know about kit starter also. I raged for a bit, more like a month, and came back. Starting out as a builder and resident, I admit, I was a juvenile. When I got mad, I would grief. I got in trouble multiple times for grieving and decided to start fresh, and stopped from there. Getting to where I am today I started to get more and more dedicated and started to work my way up. I got resident soon after starting fresh and stayed as res for a while. One day, I got bored and decided to put money in the lotto. It was a late Friday night, and I decided I wanted money, so I started sniping lottos. I put in around 15 ticket and SonnyCPretzel had around 30. I won. Next lotto, same thing happened. I got mayor and again, stayed in that rank for about 5 months. Conclusion I got president recently, and decided to dedicate part of my career to the newcomers of ECC. I feel that they shoul get a good start on a good path, one I did not have. I now have my president town, UnitedStates, dedicated to giving builders a boost. I have been donating to certain charities, and when I do when big money, it also usually goes towards donations to something else. Well, that is my life story. Hope you enjoyed it!
I will try to make this better than last by telling my story of how I started minecraft and got to this server. What all happened was one day about 3 years ago, when Minecraft had just started out, I saw my uncle playing a game that looked really wierd, with all the pixels in the blocks. I asked him what game it was and he told me it was Minecraft. I got to try minecraft on his account for awhile and I fell in love. We had played on online servers together (none like this) on his account (back in the day you can have many on 1 account at the same time). Finally I bought minecraft for myself, when it was a measly $10. I played it for awhile, and then quit for a few years. I had played again starting about a year ago, and it was alot better than the first time I had played it. I had soon been adicted with the game, and played every day. But there came a time when I got bored of normal play, and wanted some more action. I had found the hunger games server. I played theat server all the time. Then my brother started finding different servers and came across this one. I started it and thought it was dumb cause I couldn't do anything. Soon I was accepted into the game and had enjoyed it. I have loved this server ever since I was accepted into it. I am now a resident (my brother still a builder ^_^) and will always play this server. That is why I love Ecocitycraft , with all the nice people and to have the best time of my minecraft life!

Starting out as a Builder! One day, I was talking to a few of my friends, and they started talking about Minecraft. I had heard of the game before, but never got a chance to play it. They all shared this one account, and let me use it to play. I derped around in Single Player for about a month, and then got bored. I decided to try Multiplayer Servers. Back when I joined, ECC was at it's peak of popularity, and it was the first on the list I saw. I liked it's shiny banner, with the flying Dollar Signs and such, it appealed to me. I like the shiny things. I joined on June 19, and began my journey. From Builder to Resident! I was a builder for a while. I had a few incidents with grief, as i'm sure some of you know. And there was this encounter with a rather odd girl, let's just get to that later. I explored a few town through the portal before I decided for where I would like to live. I strolled through the "Mansion" Gate and decided I wanted to live there. Little did I know, that town hasn't been active in a very long while. I ran out past from that town and came across where I first lived, ScarioVille. At this time, I was just starting out, learning how everything on ECC worked, and I understood nothing. Somehow, I got $500 and bought a hotel room from a girl named Audietx, she is now inactive and banned. From here, I was approached by Audie with some... not so safe for work intentions on her part. I'm sure you can get what I am saying. Little did I know, her rejection by me would lead her to develop an undying hatred for me. She griefed the town and then told the Mayors Barour, koster2011, and Jake_The_Lion that I was the one who griefed the town and needed to be banned. Thank goodness, they found out it wasn't me and I was not banned. After this incident, I left the town. Ran into the wild a little bit from ScarioVille and made my home there. I sold homes to other Builders just joining the server and ended up with a little Shanty Town of sorts. My two neighbors were EmAx_E and White19angel. These were my first real friends on the server. Both users are inactive/banned. Unknown to us, we were in the wild, and wild means grief. We wanted someone to help us place water in our little village so we could have a farm. This was quite possibly the biggest mistake I have made in my whole time on ECC. A user named Purrguin, and two others who are completely unknown to me, and will probably be for the rest of my life, came into the town, and destroyed everything. I raged. And I raged hard. This led to my first ban from the server. After making an account on the forums, and finding out that I could get unbanned, I was thrilled. So I logged on, and made my way to making a Ban Appeal. First one posted in the wrong format.... ._. I digress. After my unbanning I decided it was time for me to get the Resident Rank. I tried farming for someone else, and may or may not have sold some of the pumpkins I was farming to the server, instead of giving them to the person I was farming them for. Well, I tried to gain access to another Pumpkin Farm and did the same thing, except trying to be completely legit about it. When I finished the job I had done for this person, I realized he didn't take away my perms to the farm. So I kept farming there. This is how I made my money to Resident. I was on the fast track to living the big life. From Resident to Mayor! Not much exiting really happened for me in this chapter of my ECC life. I finally made some new friends, ones who weren't jerks. I was now in need of an actual town, one I could grow up in and make some money. I was joined in a town called NeoPledge, one of my favorite towns I have lived in. Here I made great friends, like Kghhansen123, DareDevil0592, 0oalano0, and cormicanc. We all lived in this town together, and life was good.I sat in this town and lived very happily. Until I went on a two week vacation, meaning no ECC for two weeks. I came home exited to join my favorite server and see what had happened since I had been gone. I logged on, and all I saw was horror. The whole town was world-edited to nothing. No one was informed, and no one was given refunds. But I have to say, if this had never happened, then I would not have met the great people I have as friends now. So, thanks limsy365. If you hadn't ruined my Resident Life, my Mayor Life wouldn't be as amazing as it is now. A Resident from that town who had recently gotten Mayor, gave everyone kicked from that town a plot in his new town. It was nice, and once again I felt at home. Sadly, I have no contact with DareDevil0592, cormicanc, or kghhansen123. Kgh is still active, I just never see him anymore. 0oalano0 moved out of the town and took cormicanc with him. I never saw cormicanc again. This is when I got Mayor and made my own life on my own. Mayor onward! I made my town, made new friends, and raised more people from builder to where they are now. One of whom you may know as a little girl named SoftlyPsychotic. I remember when she was just a little builder living in a crappy town of mine I co-owned. It was a fun time. Lee1104 also grew up under my wing. Zeek87 is a Mayor because of me . I kept playing, kept learning, and hope to keep playing and keep learning until there is nothing else for me to do. A question people ask alot of me is when will I get President? Well, I don't really want President. I am currently content with being the best Mayor Poptart around! There is so much for me to do on this server, and I intend to do it all. Thanks for reading this! I have many great friends now, and I know all of them feel the same way about me as I do them. woot i was 2nd in poptart's "tag" list! Anyways i found the server by my friend deadfleaz when we needed a server to crash (not literally crash, more like hang out on). That was 13 months ago... Now i stay for the community, and to talk to some of the users who dont have skype ;p.
I was was watching Tobuscus play minecraft and was like "merm bur mer merncecurt" I then earned the 15ish for it and bought it. After noobing it in singleplayer and having my 1st world deleted tagically after my dad plugged in one too many christmas light, the power gave and yeah... Anyways I then created another world, make a rollercoaster that pretty epic for not using creative then my friend in school was like "er mer gerd ger ter mc.ecocitycraft.com erd per rit!" I was like "er k!" I did and LOVED it! I played and played and played and played and played and yeah... When I was still a builder I had 5k and said "fergert rit, murm bur mer a durnurshin furtur." I saves 10 dollars for 10k and got resident. Then bought a like 10k plot, then guess who wins the lotto enough for mayor. -.- yeah... Anyway, again, I then sold plots and did stuff like farm and got president and then yeah... nothing exciting except for raging griefing builder who get mad at me because I didn't warn them they would get banned for grief, 1st rule of town rules and huge server rule, just an fyi. Anyway, here I am typing this trying to amuse LilyPetals to get ultimate prizes and.. <typing break> ok I'm back, Thanks for reading my random grammatically errored (not a word) post! As many of you may or may not know, I stumbled upon ECC by accident. I was browsing a server list website after getting minecraft and not wanting to play single player. I wanted a nice, fun community to play with! But, at the time, I did not see EcoCity on the list I was looking for. I believe I was looking for SkyBlock servers after my friend Katie (yes, my best friend's name is Kaite, DEAL. Her ign is foreverandrever) told me about her singleplayer SkyBlock server one day at lunch. So, as I was looking for servers, I found a decent sized server that seemed cool. So I clicked on it! Keep in mind, this was my first time ever looking for a multiplayer server online, so I didn't really understand the website layout... So once I clicked on it, it took me to the information page. There, I saw a banner with the IP: "mc.ecocitycraft.com" and without even thinking, put that into my IP bar. Needless to say, when I didn't see SkyBlock, I was a tad bit dissapointed I remember walking around spawn, being very confused, and I kept asking where the SkyBlock part of the server was. A lot of people poked fun at me, needless to say this is why I don't particularly care for some people Then a fellow Builder came along and told me to come and live with him in the wild. (For anyone who doesn't know, the wild used to be 4 large oak portals at spawn. Not warp signs ) We lived in the 4th portal and that night, when he logged off, I... I greifed him and took all his melons xD I don't remember his name, all I know is that I have not heard from him since... So if you were the Builder who lived with me and can prove it, make yourself known! You have 10k coming your way because I've been feeling bad about the greif! xD Then, I can't quite remember how we started talking, but along came Andusj. He had just gotten a new town, and he let me live in a 15x15 for free as long as I finished placing dirt for him. Which I did, and all was good! He had a huge 20 block high fence made of shrubs, and cut out a small hole so I could get through to the wild and mine. Which I thought was like, the coolest thing ever - sneaking in and out of the town! XD I believe I started talking to poptartlol because he was selling something.. Needless to say, he and I bonded quickly. He allowed me to move into his little urban town and I packed up and said goodbye to Andusj, letting him know how thankful I was for the plot and the start! In poptart's town, I made a nice 10x10 mini-scraper, about 6 levels high at the the highest. It had a lobby, a room for rent, a pool (I was the coolest), and a farm. The pool and the farm are what made me donate for Water, my first donation feature. I tried for almost 3 hours in Trade to get someone to place water. By the time I did, poptart and the other town owner were offline. Needless to say, I threw a mini fit and logged off for a few days I came back online and Poptart told me it was possible to donate for Water, and that's when I did it. I ranked up to Resident within 2 actual days of playing. Then came the time I lived in @zoolouie's town. My oh my, this was some plot. He gave me a 20x15 for a couple thousand, and it was nice and prebuilt. I tore it down because I like building from flat grounds I made the plot into a mini hotel, which only ever had one true tennant. On the bottom floor was my "office" and my small 10x15 auto wheat farm. (Which, by the way, is the largest auto wheat farm I have ever made My one tennant was always offline, so I eventually "evicted" him and zoo got his items LWC'ed. A week or so after I became a Resident is when I started talking in Global confidently. I was pretty to-myself as a Builder, only putting in my opinion here or there. Which, most of the time, was said in local because I am a fail! I started becoming close friends with Poptart, and he got me into global and introduced me to officepwnz123, who is one of my closest friends on this server. From then on, I have become the player I am known as today. I hope you guys like me, I think I'm pretty cool I love EcoCityCraft and cannot wait to come back fully. You guys are like a second family to me, and I couldn't have asked for a better community to play with. You all have changed me in someway or another, even if you think I don't know who you are! I love you all, and Lilypetals I appologize for the novel...
What actually keeps me here, and what a lot of people don't seem to understand, is that you have to have a project or some sort of thing you're working towards. A lot of people will make money, and farm all day and night, but then they don't know what to spend it on (I'm talking to you ecoleaders) so then they blow it and restart the cycle. I don't think someone who does that will be able to stay on the server for a very long time, simply because they're working backwards. You should be getting money to work on projects, not working on projects to get money. The reason I like building things here is because you are judged not only on your raw building talent, but also on your ability to purchase the land and blocks used for the building. For instance, if I were to make a big gold tower on a creative server, I would show people it and it could be made out of cobble for all they care, because everybody has everything. What I'm trying to get across here is that I enjoy building, but I also enjoy the work I have to put forward to simply get the materials for a build, and it makes me more proud of my work. Oh, and also, there's no way I could ever leave ECC now, too much time and money invested. Also, I'm in poptart's post!
