I look up to @purekingding.
On my first days of ECC, I joined his town of TheCorridor. It started out as a plot, but soon I was helping on projects around the town. Not long after that, maybe a month or so, he promoted me to Co-Mayor. Him and I started making the town well-known. Since then we have converted the town into a farm, and I still look back on those days where he helped me start off on ECC.

 

Man, I totally forgot @RANDOM2580. He's the reason I stayed here on ECC.

 

I look up that 9 stacks (576) of iron ingots will be converted to 1 stack of block of iron (which is worth 67.50 EcoDollars but 64 stacks: 4320 EcoDollars) so I could earn more money to rank up to "Resident"

 

I look up to a lot of people on ECC. Everyone has their own special talents that deserve recognition. The members of my team (@Jffsprs @Donny96 @xerxesbeat @Slayer_Boy_2000 ) are all excellent in their own respective ways.

But for anyone that does creative work, you'll find that your own taste manages to be the thing you look up to. All creative people, which is to say almost everyone, suffers from the chasm between good taste and creative skill. Almost everyone can recognize great things, but it takes a skill to create things that sate your good taste. Ask any creative person whether they are pleased with their work, and they will, depending on their humility, say that it could be better. Practice is the key to evolving your creative skills toward your good taste.

I think it is safe to say that my architecture has marked spawn, but it always manages to irk me when people try to complement my designs by putting themselves down. I am just a guy who started building things, and these things eventually evolved into more elaborate things over time. I am convinced that everyone has a good taste, the potential for great things, it is only a matter of practice.

Even though it is a good thing to recognize the accomplishments of other people, it is an even better thing to look up to your own potential and tastes.

 

And to believe I am a troll...
