I've been keeping tabs on what I have, what I paid for things, or impressive buildings I might have. Net worth is relative, since I rarely keep much ECD on hand, yet I feel wealthy and successful because I never lack in what I can buy or do to either add to what I have, or just to use what I have to keep going. The money is a means to an end, but not the point of why I keep going.
Epicure is likely wealthiest organization on ECC. Considering our 10m in liquid reserves, vaulted assets, star tools (a lot), land holdings (70+ towns), head museum, agricultural facilities, and our incalculable material wealth in terms of building materials, I would wager that we've achieved financial stability for the foreseeable future.
Ahhh but my right honourable friend, Epicures assets are split between a few people and the question being 'Who is the richest player on ECC?' Not the richest organization xD You are by far the richest organization but possibly not the richest player. I would say @usernameofdeath and @appleprocucling have a good stance. I would also say @Mission001 with all his invaluable heads as let's be honest, no one has the amount of heads he has, no one has as many heads as he has that are deemed rare or one of a kind or even impossible to now get. @maroiogog has a mighty fine collection afaik so he is also a good contender.
Well, most heads he does own. Heads he has bought for like up to a mil. Heads like revans, etc. So they should be counted if I'm honest, yeah some are not his but the majority are.
What are you talking about? EccHeadMuseum belongs to Mission, not the server. He made it to “share” ECC’s history with the server. Sure people donated money to help fund the build of it, others donated their heads to be apart of it, but many... many heads Mission bought at steep prices off other players with his own money. As far as him not being allowed to sell the heads, it’s true that like 2% of his collection consists of people who donated with the agreement he can’t sell them, but the other 98% he can do what he wants with. Of course why would he invest all the millions he has into the museum, if he’s just going to sell everything? Defeats the purpose of what he built it for. So you see I consider it a countable asset for Mission. Mission has dumped millions into projects we are building and was still able to buy me a million worth of Emeralds and melon sword for Xmas as well as threw me a $4.3 million dollar loan at a whim. I’d say that mixed with the massive vault he has stacked to the brim does make him a pretty wealthy player here.
I would count them as my wealth as I do own them, as the definition of own is to possess which I do, I don't wish to sell them but just because i wont sell doesn't mean they have value and cant sell. (which I don't want too!) Afterall, Mendi wouldn't sell Epicure, yet still puts value on his empire so to speak. Same situation with the museum. But lets be honest. Im not the wealthiest, not even top 20.
Ahh dear mission, so humble! You would be up in the top 10 if you were to put all your assets through liquidation. + You're probably one of the top 5 people who other players would love to be xD
No-where, ever, has @Mission001 ever stated or implied that the ECC head collection is the official server collection. Also, you claim many other users have made the agreement, but in actual fact, you are wrong. A small percentage of users have made this agreement and the rest have either given their head to him, with the knowledge it is now his to do so as he pleases, sold him their head, or sold other rare and unique heads. He has made no comment regarding selling your or others heads. He built that museum by hand and I'm quite sure he isn't going to sell all his hard progress like others so easily would. Indeed, a strong and false assumption has been made.
You still missed the point that even though i said i wouldn't sell it does not mean the things i have under my possession (of which is the definition of own) has a value. A similar example is donation features. You cannot sell them, yet i would include them in your value as a player. Even though you cannot sell the ones you have, doesn't mean you haven't bought those features with ECD or by other means. You still have them and possess them. But like Oly said, i've never said its ever been anything official. I have indeed, made gentleman's agreements with some players about donating their head to the museum which i do not plan to break. So like i said, just because i cannot sell something that i possess, does not mean it has no value. And we are digressing from the point of the topic lol.
