One word: voting. If you vote on all 3 sites everyday that gives you 3 nstars. Let's say, you and 9 other players vote on all 3 sites today, that's 30 nstars added to the market. Nstars will always be numerous because of voting.

on christmas, andrew claus come to ecc, he brings a bag full of netherstars and goodies, he gives all the good voters, lots of nether stars and goodies, and he gives the bad voters a block of coal, which actually goes for a decent amount. now you know!
