Me and some of my school friends always looked through minecraft servers and we saw ecocitycraft and loved it so we built a houses in the wild and we shared them It was such a great time playing ecc and talking to each other on conference call. Too bad none of them play anymore . I still visit there about once a week because everytime i do i get this feeling that is so great just thinking this is where i started . I wish i could go back in time and play with them. Back when we didnt know how to earn ecodollars lol until i voted and i was like "Where did that 1k come from?" and they said "DUDE HOW DID YOU GET THAT?" lol we acted like that was so much money. .

Until a man offered me a job for melon farming i farmed and farmed but I only made 500$ so i needed another money recourse. Part 2 The House: The man i was working for told me to get materials from the wild and sell them to the market... so i did and made 500 more so i bought a house for 1k and got some more money from voting Part 3 The Disappointments: I wanted Resident so bad i asked for loans and begged for money i even bought some lotto tickets but some people didn't trust a builder like me and people bought 100 tickets or 45 tickets in the lotto and i only bought 1 or 2 Part 4 The Resident: I was lonely in the town i stayed in the town i was in so i moved but i couldn't get my stuff... i didn't have perms to my own house. so when i moved ii had no supply's and no money. Then i realized i shouldn't have quit my melon farm i shouldn't have bought lotto tickets i should have worked for it like a real man so i went to a melon farm and started harvesting and sold them to people... one day i looked into my money and i had 15k... I started in the wild some time in september with my friend we started fishing in a swamp and made money I got enough to buy a plot then I worked hard and fished to get resident and even after I got it. then I got co-mayor then the town got major grief so I cant add people for now. and then fish went down and so I turned to loto (never won a single one) and that is my story up to now
I never actually ventured into the wild, I bought from a great guy (who's inactive now) named xxthemanateexx, started farming, got resident, then mayor, then president, all pretty quickly due to donation feature selling. I've been doing donation selling since I've been a builder, yes. My life was pretty uneventful and undercover until I got tycoon.
Well my story is probably a miners paradise. After starting on this server, I ran to the farthest edge of the map. I wandered the edges of the map for a good spot to set up my home. I eventually found a ravine that was concealed by a jungle biome. At the bottom of the ravine a found an entrance to a small cave system which is connected to a gigantic mineshaft. I ended up making myself a small house near the entrance to the mineshaft. After about 3-4 days of mining/expanding, I've made about $827,700 doing nothing but selling ores and some of the produce from the small farm in my house. I will more likely build a town here, with a couple of my friends.
Part One: Christmas Day Twas Christmas day when I joined the server and by chance I saw one, SoftlyPsychotic, advertising free plots within her town of Modern Farms. After I claimed my 10x10 plot I headed off into the build world to gather supplies. Part Two: The House After mining up a storm within the build world I returned to my empty plot at Modern Farms to begin smelting up some stone bricks. And so I build myself a small house of stone brick walls and birch wood floor. Part Three: Failure Business After adding on multiple floors to my house, I opened it up as an apartment building... which never once got a customer. Part Four: New Home And so having turned my home into an apartment building, I purchased a plot beside my first and built myself a new home with two stories and three basements of stone brick and birch wood. Part Five:Store Having many extra building utensils, I purchased yet another plot and constructed a two level open air shop which quickly gained money Part Sixresent And to this day I have purchased Modern Farms from SoftlyPsychotic and still continue to live within my home.
the first good town i lived in was new york quefueve how i becam a mayor simple lotto i won 45k then I WAS ADDICTED TO LOTO next win i think 85k same exact day i thought i lost at first lol but i already had 20k fraom minning o ya also my first time on ecc was a long time ago when i went on and said this stinks but my freind mikebrian147 said he liked it so i quit like 1 -2 months later i joined again then was addicted to ECC
I started in Randomville mid december. I remember going through the tutorial and coming out double confused because I began to understand how much stuff was in the server.
Joined January 2012. At the time, I was playing mainly with my irl bud, syfygeek35. We lived in the wild for a long time. We were just a couple of poor people, doing nooby things. One day, we decided to start a business. One that would sell every item in minecraft. We didn't know what trade signs were really, so we just said that we were selling stuff (yet we had very little amounts of items). Then, one normal, EcoCityCraft night, a Mayor who went by the name of, Xacheiree, had advertised in spawn that he was selling free plots. I immediately reacted and decided to join him... The rest of the story is really long, but I can assure you right now, Xacheiree, most members of Dormphood (Xach's town) and I are now great friends, and not just on the server. - mrcreeper55
I just ran as far from spawn as possible, made a house, mined through the floor and sold the stuff to the server. Then my house was flattened and I decided to get a job. I started working for ProducerNL and bloopser on their pumpkin farm in the middle of the ocean (which I had to find as bloopser couldn't tp and ProducerNL was offline) and eventually got enough money to become a resident. The End.
MY STORY! I started on day playing minecraft i got lonley so me and my bro started looking for servers we found some but they all stinked so heres were my story startes chap 1: how do i get to you? my older brother gave me a server ip he had been playing on for a little bit i joined the server my bro had a small pumpkin farm in the wild (we had no clue about tp) so we spent half an hour finding each other in the wild then going to his pumpkin farm he was already saving for res he taught me about lwcs and stuff i mined for a bit and found a mine shaft =D to my luck the ores were all gone there was a few webs there so i broke them for string i mined a bit more and went back up ch 2: let the work begin! i made myself a fishing rod and started to fish my bro (theultrabulba) continued to farm pumpkins at a profit of 2$ per one at the time eventually i relized fishing wasent making me alot of money so i made a bucket and put water in it in hope of starting a wheat farm andd you know what happend D= so we sold the bucket uuugh and got 0$ a was soo mad but still made the farm without water ch 3: my bff joines i then called up my bff and gave her the ip she joined the server it took us forever to get her to myn and my bro farm but we did it she then used my farm a little and bought some melon and pumpkin seeds and made a melon and pumpkin farm i then was chilling at spawn and i met somebody (i cant rember his name but i know it had blue in it so i will call him blue) i took blue to my farm and we built a nice brike house and my bff built a cobble house we had no clue about plots at the time so we got grifed alot! then the wild portales reset i had my home still set but my friend blue didnt so me and my bff packed up i found a nice space and cleared it out and we built a small farm together and got enough money for me to get res! ch 4: a plot at last! i was then asking how do you not get grifed and somebody offerd to sell me a plot after buying res i had 1k left he sold me a plot in the town of seaside with a small pumpkin farm (now grifed to shreades) i got my bff perms ch 5: the after life blue got ban D= and never appealed i saved up for mayor pumpkin farming and got a town with my bff kkykky (same bff from before) and sold a plot to ryan102199 who is now one of my co-mayors and agreat friend of myn no my bro quite the server and barley ever goes online now i have made more friendshipes like with grase1lightining who quite the server and william4090 who got ban =,( i still have my old house in seaside and visit often THE END hope you enjoyed this took forever to type out
When I started in early January 2013, I didn't know anything about ECC. I went through the first portal that I saw, and there was the mining world. I later resided in build16 at the time, but my house got griefed. I decided to look around spawn a little bit, and I found the PvP world, which at the time was a small "desert town" arena. Lets just say that I got killed with a diamond sword. I was really mad and I was thinking about quitting, but then, rick4mic came and helped me get the money to buy a plot in nobleville. I even got resident rank from his help. I am so happy when I actually get to see him because we live in separate time zones. And that's the story of how I got started in ECC
For me, before I became resident I ran a neat casino in one booming city. This was before donors only could use the dispencers. My casino was turning a amazing profit. Seeing days when i'd make 1,500+ were not uncommon... untill someone stole all the wool and dispencers needed by the casino. And the next day the building got greifed. The mayor said that he was sorry for the greif, and that he would make it up to my in any way he could. I told him that it did'nt matter, and out of no where he donates me 15,000 and says that he had to make it up to me somehow. And that is how I became resident, ironicly by pure luck.
I always lived on a plot. I started ECC with a silver spoon in my mouth so to speak. Ive have always had revanrose6 helping me out. I used to watch revan play on the server as a builder. A little while after she became a mod, I started playing. My first day i was given a 20x20 plot and 5k. I think the next day she gave me a 40x40 farm and i farmed that for god knows how long but, it wasn't without issues. The farm got griefed multiple times. I got fed up. And then i noticed someone advertising a 50x50 being advertised for 15k. I put 5k down and payed the rest off later. I constructed an absolutely huge(huge for a builder lol) farm on that plot. Three floors total. It was easily the biggest farm in town. I spent about 4k per floor in materials which, at the time, was alt of money to me. I had a really hard time saving for much else but back then i didnt need to. I saw no point in buying a rank about builder and I was pulling in about 3-4k per floor. When i wasnt blowing money on the farm itself i was buying tools and other materials. I lost most of my original tools though :/. I also did a crap-ton of 1k donations to other builders. I made the money for resident probably 10 times over before i actually bought the rank, which was roughly 2 and a half weeks ago. I also bought 2 towns and I now have the money for mayor. Its a little crazy because i still havent figured out what im going to do with the first town that i bought. I have ideas though. Just havent decided. Thats pretty much it.... for now.
You're lucky, "being born with a silver spoon in your mouth" only makes up about 4% - 7% of all ECC people. Last time i checked anyway. I had the "born in a log cabin" story for me. I was (and still am) dirt poor. But I was living off of the other players in ECC, which is why I can easily say that ECC is the best server ever. They sometimes found me and took me in, and in exchange i'd share expert mining tips. Tips like how to find, avoid, and to defeat silverfish underground. How to make over 2,000 in less than 30 min. stuff like that. I might have already said a basic summary of what i did earlyer in this thread, dont know for sure though.
