I farmed until Mayor, used my extra money to build a 3 story 200x200 pumpkin farm, and sold everything I could in my farm (perms, rents, naming rights, casino, plots on the roof, and eventually, the farm itself). The farm-selling got me about 600k, so I sold my town #2 for 50k and bought President and Tycoon. That's my secret to getting from Builder to Tycoon in about 6 weeks.
I walked to a town named Las Vegas, then i went into wild and made a home in a hill. Now Las Angeles has been built on my home anyways, thats how i started. Also, my first plot was a prebuilt in Las Vegas for about 800$
Well I stared July 24 2012. I applied for resident after 4 days. Then i logged on on today, July 29 2012.....And I was a Resident! Almost forgot! I met this super nice person,guy, thing, alien, tcanton233. He gave me a job on his wheat farm so I could work to get 15k. He is a good friend. I like him. He does give me crap sometimes for being a girl....ugh he only does it to bug me. lol you know what I think i will stop now because i am just rambling on. Peace out, khrones
I went to the wild, crafted myself some chests and i was good to go! I farmed pumpkins til i had 4k, then i decided to invest 1k in the lottery. And boom! My luck seems to strike again! 50k in my pocket. I applied for resident and look at me now ^^ My position right now is that im stuck on a wheat farm i spent 20k on but doesnt work at the moment. This is my story I joined ECC with the advice from my friend. Luckily for me, the day I joined he was on too. I asked him where he lived and he invited me to the town he was co mayor of. I started mining and farming until I got some wood and built a house. My fourth day of ECC I found 8 diamonds. Boy was I happy, I had 12k then I saw my first lotto. I really wish I hadn't seen it though. In high hopes of winning lotto and becoming rich, I bought 12 tickets. That was also the day I met ProducerNL. 4 seconds before lotto Producer bought 40 tickets. I lost that lotto and had to get more money again, but all I had was a very small farm of melon, pumpkin, and wheat. In 2 weeks I had 13.5k, almost there. Then 1.3 came out, I updated and couldnt play ECC for about a week or two. When I got back my house was destroyed and I had mail. Scottmichaelj was the mayor of Nottingham, the town I was in. He sent me messages saying he would take my house down if I didnt in 3 days. I couldnt have known this, because I couldnt play. The diamonds I worked so hard for, the house I built, the farm I made, all gone. Turns out Nottingham wasnt "ready for users" so I was kicked from the town and so was my friend, xxcjxx00. I lived in the wild for a bit until I got the money for a plot in yoshiland. That town wasnt very good yet because it had just started as well, so thats when I found NorthShore. It was perfect, I bought a 10x10 plot for 1k and got my 15k and became resident, now I have 30k in my balance and to this day, I still live there.
I was just a annoying little builder when I got a job working at mzjaii's pumpkin farm when he was a mayor. Then I got a plot in mineyork. I found it very hard to make 15k when I was a builder so I just donated for the all words feature.
I started off with no clue about the server. So I just went through a portal found several big sugarcane farms and took every piece of sugarcane they had, a few hours later The Ban Hammer Has Spoken! I also got my friend banned for it... Once we were unbanned, I ran off to get some money. I thought coal was valuable since I never found diamond/gold in survival which I played 1 map for 3 months. I had about 2 stacks of coal, but it only got me about $100. I thought it would take me years to get resident so I just donated. I believe my friend did too. Somewhere around resident and builder I met larsphee and helped flatten/fill his town. In payment I got a plot and so did my friend Donut. After Lars left the town was usually empty. Before I got resident or donated, I begged for money and some nice people did give me enough for a house in Ike's town Athens. I made my house out of stone, and a roof of wood. I really was a bad builder back then. After a while I got used to resident and started buying from shops. I set off with my friend to start a town. I found a spot by the sea and made some tents for homes. Later I started making lines for the border, which was about 156x142. Built wood walls around it, they looked quite nice. Then I started flattening the town, which I was still lazy and hired people. I cant remember who all I hired, it was about 7 people because of them quitting the server. I ended up with a great co-mayor named gregcharles. I gave my friend, DancingDonut, a plot too in the rich section. Greg had a friend who helped build my town, he was maximus12346. With max and greg we built a lot of buildings around town, pathways, and plots. Some buildings were the courthouse, mall, jail, City Hall, and a church. I thought that was the best town ever, even today I wish I still had it. I donated for mayor around the time the town was nearly flat. This town was Wolvesville. I joined the pink sheep clan in Athens when there was pvp across most of the town. With Chibi!!! Later on I got bored and headed to a big lake I had next to my town and built two ships. One was a battleship, the other was a aircraft carrier which I never finished but named it the WeWinAgain after WeWin. Around that time andrew announced the new map reset. I said if my comayor's and I could make about 50k within those 2 weeks I would keep the town. We didnt reach that goal and Wolvesville was just a memory. I was a president with nothing. Later on andrew had a president change and I got 30k back. I had a friend, Olive45, who told me about an ocean by her home in the wild. I went there with Donut and set up a couple small homes on the shore. The next day I built what I thought was a 200x200 border, I think I was several blocks off. I wanted it to be underwater but just made it on the water, built me a 80x20 mansion, and made tons of pathways. After they were done I had another friend, Beaudie17, who was a builder in max's town on the old map, move in right next to me. BLTwitch moved in to the right of me and Donut was further to the left. I had a plot for max but soon after the reset he left eco, taking greg with him. So I was short 2 co-mayors, I replaced them with Donut and Beau. They both made shops, another map reset, took atlantis with me. After a while nothing happened, I usually wasn't on minecraft. When I came back, I wanted a new town, So I made several maps of what would be where, I found one of them to be the best. I had a world edit done the level 40ish. I built a castle with Beau and Donut. Made some pathways out of glass because I wanted to fill it with water one day. Made a melon farm, 1.3 came, I built my mansion on top of the castle and it looked great. I made a new farm design and created a wheat farm. I am a mayor with a nice town even though it isnt finished. ~ Achy, Achum, achummer, ach....
deathtoll1's STORY Chapter 1 Suck at everything The first day i joined ecocitycraft i was like OMG What in the world is this [I was lagging through the half step at spawn] I logged out after 5 minutes of trying to get out of it. Next day, i came back and logged on. I was like ok? This is a hardcore economy server? So after i read the rules, i went around doing nothing trying to go into mining world without it working... I said out text that a teleporting portal was broken, then i was told it was only for resident +, right after that i asked to join a town and a guy named Chargers2417 The owner of BoltCity told me that i could join his town and i could get there using a teleporting portal at floor 17. Chapter 2 Instantaneous Resident! Ok so i was at his town and he asked 'Do you have 1k?' Since i 'had' just joined the server i said no then he asked me to vote at www.ecocitycraft.com/vote, i immediately voted and got 1.25k I then paid him 1k for a 10 x 10 plot. He also gave me access to the towns small wheat farm, after 10 minutes of harvesting i had 1.6k from all the wheat. Then i saw someone win lottery and i asked 'How do you buy a lottery ticket?' Some guy replied '/lot buy 1' So i just immediately did it and i was like hey i got a ticket! I then asked 'The ticket is free?' The same guy [I think] replied and said 'no it costs 1k each ticket'. I was like shit i just wasted 1k, using the rest of my money i got some wood and built a small house then like 15 minutes later in chat it showed that i won $263k through lottery, everyone was like 'OMG' in chat [I think i won from video <3 you money video] Than right after that i had like more than 5 people pming me to give / lend them the money to snipe lottery so my chat was practically filled with crap. Chapter 3 Bought resident and donation feature! So i applied for resident and got it 1 day after my application and bought a donation feature from ragman after i found out i couldn't place it... That was practically how i got res

WhiteStar's story is very simple, I joined and started a wheat farm in the wild. Started to seriously like the server and attempted to get money for a plot. After I did, I moved to Bakhu, where I farmed, farmed, and farmed some more until I got resident then mayor. Afterwards I made a huge melon farm and I have been farming for several hours a day ever since xD (I skipped many details but honestly, look at poptarts post, lol I know you didn't read all that )
