yeah so i started alone on an account named "mrjohn77" and I shared that account with a friend until I got this new account and me and my friend could play at the same time . So then we built a huge castle outside of fortocelot and fortlynx and Igorvanloo's town and then I bought a plot in goldencity and now im comayor of bigcity (Kevin's City)
I lived in a dirt hole, then i moved to a new dirt hole (all dirt interior, very nice), then i got a plot, the mayor gets banned so i move to one of ant's towns. couple million pumpkins later i get mayor then president
When I stared this server in early may I first begged people for stuff and then someone dropped a diamond pick in a trade that I wasN't in. -part one Then I started mining for diamonds I found a lot when I burned by lava and rage quit. -part two Then from trial and error I Mannaged to get 1k then I bought a plot in lakes vile were SargeantNoob helped me then I mined and got 15k and applied (after that I made Tkick mad and Tkick kicked me)
I started heading towards build 3. I then turned west and ran for a few minutes. I made a 5x5 dirt hole and started mining. After I got some iron for tools I decided to expand my house. I ran into someone's wheat farm. There was someone in it so I left. Then I decided to change the dirt to wool. I spent all my money on wool, built the house, and logged off. I come back to see most of it gone. I take the little wool I had left and started walking further. I eventually find an oasis in a desert. I then built a cobble house and hid all my valuables in a wool room in a basement. I then started mining sandstone and farming wheat to get money. After I got 5k I see crossfire26 saying "selling plots 1k pm me" I then buy a plot and have him tp me to him. I then set home there. I created a small melon farm ( only for food ) and began mining. Then one day when I got around 7.5k I decided to run into pvp. It just so happens that synwannabe and theyounggun are fighting. So unarmed I run in (expecting to die) but synwannabe dies I grab his tools and armor and tp home. I then get pmed by synwannabe that he will pay 30k for his sword back. I accept his offer and give him the sworad. He pays me 30k and I apply for resident. I then use the other 15k on a 200x200 pumpkin farm. Then I farmed there to get mayor. After mayor I always put 1k in the lotto and gained around 200k. Even though I'm a semi rich president I still miss my old dirt hole.
I started off finding someones mine and selling the Redstone then I got a plot in the old town Wolvesville and then when the map changed i moved into a huge mountain region in a valley. Then when my melon farm and house was griefed I quit for 8 months. After that I came back here and got resident after working in Pumpkinland for about 2 weeks.
Before I had moved into a town, I had travelled for many thousands of blocks until I found somewhere that wasn't completely griefed, then I plopped down a large tree farm with at least 50 trees. I didn't have anywhere to live by so I just had a chest, a furnace, and a crafting table out in the middle of nowhere surrounded by 5 torches. At first, I thought that I can make a lot of money by selling logs to the server after realizing that they sell for something like five cents a piece, then I tried selling them in auction for no avail. After that, I discovered that I can make a lot of money quickly by mining for resources, so I did that until I saved up enough money to buy a plot in a city, called BigCity. Currently, I am almost co-owner and has built 55k-worth of things for the mayor.
I started not long ago at all and the first thing I did, seeing as this was my FIRST multiplayer experience on minecraft (Played offline for over a year before I decided to give the mmo aspect a try) is run to the closest build gate, started cutting grass as fast as I could, then I found a tree!! I was so stoked.. Next thing I did was found the nearest cave with water in it. Then I knew to survive I needed food so I built a small wheat farm and stood there and waited to make my bread, lol. After that really, I just voted for a day and bought a plot that would be protected.
I just started in the wild mining and selling my hand. I bought a lot before I was a resident where I set up a small farm and became a resident within 4-5 days of jointing the server.
Well, i actually started not too into this server, then i saw an advertisement for a 5x6 hotel room in the middle of nowhere, and figured eh why not. I started getting into it alot more then, just being around cool people, then the next day the entired place got griefed, and all i came back to was a few floating blocks and a sign from the owner saying "sorry, we got griefed by some random guy. A few days later, we got back together and went to a town that he found, which is Exile. Then i met north88, a rlly cool guy who sold us all a cheap plot. Well, a few weeks later he decided that he wanted to make me the co mayor of the town, which was only a few days ago. Now im loving this server more than any other. Who needs creative servers anyways : D
The Start Before ecc, I thought I liked pvp servers. I would just bounce around these servers, only staying on one until I ragequitted and found a new one. I only joined ecc for two reasons: It was ranked number 1 and it had 'pvp' in it's description. Little did I know that ths would be the best server I had ever played on. The Hunt for a Home When I started in the spawn I had no idea what to do. What the heck are those blocks of water doing there?? Eventually a saw somebody disappear into a portal and followed suite. I emerged into a snowy wasteland. Ugly, grief consumed, cobble houses surrounded me. I began walking. Eventually I found a wooden house and took most of the wood. Hey, i didn't know about /kit starter! I eventually dug a hole in the side of a hill and called it home. I began mining out my hill and found a ravine! It had all sorts of iron and coal along the sides. For a Builder this discovery was staggering. For about a week I just sat in my cave, mining out ore. Btw, this whole time I'm in /ch l. I had no idea how to get out. So I just had to sit and watch others enjoy the chat of ecc. The Crimes.... and The Redemption I got bored of my cave and began exploring around build gate 4. I and a friend (don't even remember his name) began to.... kill other players. We made a home with a dirt floor that led to a long drop. I think you guys can figure out the rest. We did that for a few days, then I got tired of being yelled at. I saw 151baccardi building a bridge across a pond, and it gave m an idea. I would clean up the spawn of buid gate 4! I worked on it for quite a while, until all of the holes were patched up and a wall was built around the entire spawn. The Helping Hand 151baccardi returned to build gate 4 a few days later. I had spent most of my time fighting off griefers who wanted to destroy what had become my baby. She seemed to be impressed by the work that I had done, then I saw the green letters at the bottom of my screen. You have recieved 5000. :shock: I never had that much money. She said it was for the building supplies, but frankly, she was taking pity on a builder who was trying to overcome the odds of fightng back against the griefers. But that's not all. She then gave me a free plot in olympia. Whoa. I went from my little cave to one of the best towns in ECC. From there I just used the town farm to get my money for resident. Now Now I'm impatiently waiting for my mayor application to be approved! I don't think i would still be playing ecc if I hadn't of gotten that plot in olympia. I would probably be playing on some other crappy pvp server. Thanks to all of you who make this server the best!
I am touched ! I did appreciate the fine build quality and I was also cleaning up build gates. How could I possibly clean build gate 4 any better ? I think not ! - So I made the best decision on a tenant for my town I ever made and have not regretted once. I am happy to see quality people like logo_111 find a home here on ECC and if I should find more quality come stumbling upon our humble server, I shall not hesitate to be as helpful as can be. Nice story logo. I should write my own story on here... It has been a long and interesting journey.
I have been meaning to wright this for a while now. Kuke the part that concerns you is in bold.(don't want to waste your time asking you to read it all.) @kukelekuuk00 Spoiler When I first joined I did the natural thing and not read any of the signs and took off to explore. My first stop was to silos town next to spawn saw a nice plot there and thought hey why not get a plot here. So I asked and was asked if I had enough money. I said I didn’t know and was told then no I couldn’t have the plot. So being very sad I went to the town portal room and went through a nice portal called newleaf. I looked around for a bit figured I probably couldn’t live here either so I just kept going to it said I could built. I crested a hill figured this is an awesome spot and set up a house. I was happy with my little house even knew how to lock chest because another server I played on used the same commands for locking stuff. At this point I realized that I was going to get hungry so I build myself a farm. Had a nice farm built seeds collected and remembered I needed water. So I went on and built a mine found some iron made a bucket got some water went to put it in my farm and….well let’s just say I was not happy. I was about to quit the server after that (Thank God I didn’t) I was pretty upset I have to donate to make a farm what type of crappy server was this? I would have quit if I hadn’t been only 10 blocks from a river lol. I moved the farm over there were some tiny bits are still there today. (My house isn’t I tore it down for materials, but some of the basement still is.) After enjoying some bread and killing some mobs(the old days of main world mobs.) I started noticing some people called presidents talking in chat. I was like well darn I want to be a president so I asked how I could get it. I was told how after that and how much money each rank cost. After a few more questions I figured out how to check my money. 6 dollars that’s how much I had just a little short of 15k lol. (I have no idea how I got that 6 dollars. Only thing I can think of is back in 2011 I played for a little bit but forgot about the server.) Well that all happened on the first real life day on the server. I went to bed that night with the goal of president set for myself. Next day I got on and my house had a block missing! For whatever reason I figured that my house wasn’t safe anymore so I got my stuff build a boat and sailed until I was very far from civilization in the middle of the ocean. I build a man-made island spend 4 real life hours dragging animals from the mainland to a pen I built them in the ocean. Made another farm (water wasn’t a problem here.) Then dug down below the ocean and found this absolutely huge system of caves mineshafts which to this day I have not fully explored. It was a literal gold mine down there I made somewhere around 25k mining crap out them caves. The only time I left my house and mine was to explore the ocean around my house and would you know it I set up shop about 50 blocks from kukes celestria (which you left some awesome amount of stuff in unlocked chest there. I am talking about 20 30 diamond swords stacks of grass blocks and other awesome stuff. Not knowing stealing was ok back then I only stole a few grass blocks for my sheep hoping you wouldn’t notice. (I wish I had robbed it all now, but sadly someone beat me to it when I checked a month or so ago.) So any ways my long dead sheep thank you kuke. ) But besides for buying a much overpriced town house (was so naive about plot prices back then.) I lived there until I got resident.
I think I had a pretty good start. I discover ecc on minestatus. After all the searches for good minecraft servers, I found ecc! I spent my time in the wild searching for monsters and just wondering around and then I was smart so I made a house underground. I go out to wonder around more and I see that someone died! He had tools and 15 diamonds! I made myself tools and some armour. Another day, I look around and I see somone died again! I got 15 diamonds again!!! I made myself a set of diamond armour. I get my friend and we live together. He gets baned for donation problems or thats what he said. I then try geting a plot and a builder said he had a town. I didn't know much then so I got a 10x10 plot for 300. Later on we became great friends. His name was tazzman7227. And later on another person moves in my hotel. His name was is Cline. So then our wild town started. I made a few buildings in town and more people moved in. We were all good friends and it was like a clan. After a few days, Tallen starts to take from our farm :/ We tryed killing him with sand. he was not a big problem. Then a troll annoyed us so we made holes and killed him. We didnt know all the rules then. Then zard, a mayor then, greifs the hole town I learned he was "nice" but he was not then. ANd the worst part was that he did it right in front of us. So then we move to a town right next to our wild town, Appalosa. The mayor quit but his name was Treeskee. The co mayors were Tallen, Burnsbrightly, and tsmith3390. I bought soo many plots there and sold my houses. I made about 50k! I sniped loto (21k) and lost :/. after my friend, Cline, got resident I got mine! Then lolshane (my irl friend) got unbaned. He got perms for appa and then got baned. He donated $500!!! Then got a town. I was comayor there. He got baned for paypal probs again so I took charge. Cline was co mayor too. So many people turned into presidents and mayors from builder there. Rednax1991 was a resident. Pernando was a builder. and Others too. I saw that so many people were geting mayor and I would always spend so i got a 50k loan. I got my mayor and thats where I am today. I made lots of good friends and met many people. Everyone from appalosa is inactive. And burnsbrightly I think is gonna quit. Cline is also inactive. The only active person from that town is me. So thats how I started ecc
I started E.C.C back in Beta 1.3, In Eco-City. March 3rd, to be exact. There were no towns, no ranks, no "staff", and no real problems. We didnt have all of these problems over the economy, X-Raying was allowed, and cookies and wolves weren't even added to the game yet! Most importantly, We were all mainly happy. None of us really had to compete in the economy, and we all had what we relatively needed. It was Utopia! I lived here, My first building on E.C.C Ever; I had a casino, and that was one of my first buildings. It was in Eco-city, right by the spawn building. See here; Then i built E.C.C's Courthouse; Then our office Building; Built a Monument for a contest; Bought some light-blue wool with Kojigaki; And Joined the Anti-"Goat Cult", the precursor to the Cactus Cult;
My start: I first went to this server that made you go through a maze before you could do anything, I got angry and rage quit. That was the beginning of my Minecraft Multiplayer Adventures. Then I saw this ecocitycraft. I was like sure. I then just went to the wild a made a house. I kept getting griefed. Then i went right beside the spawn portal where there were protections that people couldnt break and made a house right beside the protections underground. I lived there until I had enough money to more into a town. I then moved into a 4x4 apartment that was $2 a day in Eastland. I lived there until I bought a 10x10 plot in eastland. I built a 10 story, horrible farm and was happy. I then wanted to expand more. I wanted a 20x20 and the mayor wasnt on enough and I got annoyed, I then went to lacuria (I think its called). I bought a 20x20 plot. I then bought another 20x20 plot behind it and made a wheat farm. In the mean time I made a really good friend, C*******. I farmed mined, and asked for donations until I got resident. I then became addicted to the lottery. I kept losing my money. So I asked a C******* to start holding my money for me. He held it until i had enough for mayor. I had 100k. I got mayor, a world edit, built my town, a town portal, and got what is now Libertatem. I now spend my days in Libertatem doing nothing. The end
