30x30x20 semi auto wheat farm in 2 chunks. 20k per harvest and pay users to help replant. Takes about 6 mins to replant Each level, but With 2-3 people it can be replanted in under an hour and is ready for harvest in about 30-45 mins. If done right I average about 18-20k per hour. Im extending it to 30 levels as well.
Most would say pumpkin farms, because they are automatic. Technically if you had a stack of each, wheat would be worth the most money. If you think about it, it takes TWO blocks to get 1 pumpkin, but only ONE block for 1 wheat. Wheat is worth more, and you can get twice the amount from one field, but the only reason that is true, is because wheat isn't automatic. If you have two 10x10 fields and make one pumpkin and one wheat, your going to get a lot more wheat from each harvest. Overall, I'd say big huge pumpkin farms are more effective for the busy mayors who don't have time to replant wheat (or just lazy ), but for small timers (residents with only a little pocket change) wheat is the way to go. I have a wheat farm i put on a 19x17 plot (was twenty, added some fence) and everytime i harvest i get about 500 bucks, sell wheat (300) and sell the seeds (200). Pumpkins take longer to start off, unless you want to blow a bunch of bonemeal. Basically all I'm saying here is potato farming is way to go.
I dont have fly, and i dont use speed potions. I just sprint and harvest 2 rows of pumpkins at once, plus i have a fairly efficient farm.
I Will put money that I can make 20k a hour on pumps, Pumpkins with cjb > eff V silk sword on melons.
