Buy a star pick, star axe and water donation to clear the surrounding area. Then build walls around everything, and have 4 sets of town to town portals, with the centermost town being just for buildings, next ring for markets sold to users, and the last ring for resdential purposes, with the 4 corner towns used for farms.
