mmmmmm i start in the woods. i get very mutch money on jobs and farming. one day i buy a plot in sinder33 and after 1 half month i moved to nymeria i live in to towns.
Started in the wild with Zoxlei (now banned), then bought a 10x10 lot for 1k in zombieville, owned by outragedzombie. Still own that lot.
Reading through this and seeing azl's post made me happy, glad you could start out somewhere awesome Anyway, at first I lived in the wild for like 2 weeks. I got griefed many times and decided to seek housing elsewhere. I lived in a town of which I don't recall, but it was awful and the owner was a tyrant. I moved DiscoBovine's town and it was fantastic. He was so nice and it made me want to have a town of my own. I haven't seen him on unfortunately but I would like to say thanks for the opportunity!
First the Wild, then alternated between Cirrus and Wild for 2 months, Cirrus full-time 1 month, kicked out of Cirrus, wild for 3 months, now Gold City.
I started in the wild (my hideout was never found, still there last time I checked) and after I won a lotto and sold lots of obsidian when it was still $10 a block, I bought my first house in outerlocal's town Gemenon. I actually bought a smallish house, then paid him more so I could move into a big, new house he build across town still have it, still a beautiful town.
Well, when I joined, I kept telling people that I was buying a lot for 1k (It was the first day, and I had gotten 1k from voting - could've gotten 1200 but there were only 5 voting pages at the time S: ). I bought a nice 10x10 lot close to a very tall tower in Ireland (actually, the tallest tower in the town!). They had a great public fishing table, that also sold fishing rods for $30 each, so I kept buying them each time my fishing rod ran out. I think I only made one of my fishing rods, the rest were bought. I also tried an underground farm, but that didn't work, so I scrapped the farming idea and made a shop. Everyone nearby was very nice, except for this one person who griefed my house/shop for no reason. However, the griefer dropped his Unbreaking III Fortune II diamond pick and left without it, so I took it, and I still use that pick. Now, I own 2 shops and a house in the town of Ireland. One shop close to the spawn, and that original one near the tall tower.
I lived out in the wild until I was given a free plot in Southrow. Unfortunately, the mayor and co-mayor were banned the next day sooooo, after saving up enough money, I bought a 30x30 plot from, I think monkeyButt244, in Ceron where I built an auto wheat farm/pumpkin farm. Then I got mayor and founded Enegek where I still live today.
As a wee little builder, I began in the wild, of course, with some of my friends in real life, Anja2012, zoolouie, leif519, and snowbleie. I joined the underground network of houses they had elaborately dug out somewhere around -8000x, 6000z. Then my best friend errrrrr6 joined the server, and we decided to go live somewhere else. I dug out another small house only a little ways away, and stayed there for around 3 weeks. We were out mining around that time and found a spider spawner! We built the most ineffective set up I've ever seen, but neither of us knew better. I spent my time fighting these spiders from hell and a kindly mayor named clob1296 said he would buy the xp from me for $3 per orb, which was at the higher end of the market. I also sold enchanted swords which I had enchanted with level 1 I auction, sometimes getting up to $800 for them! I earned my way towards resident and found kecks07 selling plots in Appaloosa for 2k, I didn't know this was expensive, but I didn't care. I built my first farm on that plot, and farmed it quite a bit and built it up higher and higher. I then noticed that my mayor had a huge pumpkin farm! It was around 50x50, and I farmed this in secret until I found lotto. I sniped my first lottery with 50k, and found that I was getting an adrenaline rush from it. I won and bought mayor. I dug out most of my first town without knowing of "world edit" and then I knew what I had to do. Saved up, bought it, and with the help of all of my friends in real life from above, we built a town with a 100x100 farm, and plenty of plots. Fortocelot. It was always being griefed by builders, but I stayed on top of it. Every grief report was posted by me or my co-mayor zoolouie. I continued to play the lottery, sniping quite a bit, but I lost a lot of money on my road to presidency. I finally went on a winning streak and won enough, until I sniped a lottery and won 230k, I lost a few after that, but kept enough money to buy [President]. I sold permanent access to my 100x100 farm (I've made 300k+ on it over the months), and sold access for half the big 200x200 farms, getting tons of interested people. I got my third town Pecunia, but botched the worldedit which left a 2x200x200 area clear, and tons of mountainous area on top left to be destroyed. I continued along on the server, mining, farming, and generally having a good time, and then I got bored. I quit the server for around 4 months, but came back late September, and as far as I know, I'm never leaving again. Well, some people may know him, other's may not. Slimypeople48 is my cousin, and since he was already a Mayor when I bought MC, first thing I did on the server was receive a TP request from boston81, who I had no clue who he was. Slimy PMed me and told me to accept, and I did. From there, I slowly, and I mean slowly, I'm bad with saving money, went up in the ranks. Builder for a few weeks, then Resident for a very long time.. Finally Mayor, all because of slimy slimypeople48
I started out in the wild right outside of the town Paradise, and then I bought a couple of plots in Rabidworms town apeture!
I grew out in the wild. dug a hole and started farming. as i was expanding my farms i ran into a town border so i moved. i dug another hole and farmed some more. finally someone found my farm so i bought pilot and built an 8 level chunk farm in the aether. was planning to build a nice base there when farms were banned in the aether. right then my computer died and i wasn't able to be on for a while. when i got my computer back i decided to finally get mayor and am now setting up my own town.
First day I joined ECC, redminion911 sold me a 5x5 apartment room, when I did not know anything about towns or permissions yet. A week later, the mayor of the town, poptartlol, tells me that I had to pay to be part of the town. He was nice enough to let me stay until I earned enough money, and later, I had around 5 plots in his town.
Lol I started in the wild by plonking down a chest right outside spawn in the wild and going back there to store valuables Then I bought a plot in Berlin from Komrk888. I bought a house of Ike in Edelweiss and I still use it today. I then bought a big plot in Nox when it was not a fiery hell, but I became inactive and during that time Kuke was offering residents in Nox compensation for their plot which was going to be destroyed, I didn't check the forums and missed out (FAIL) Then I made my town. Then I became co-mayor of Crannington and I have a house there So uhh yeah
I started by building a small house miles out into the sea which at the time was near the borders off ecc. it was originally built under the sea and i left no trace of anything being there so no greifers could come and attack my house from there is slowly built up 8k and bought access to icrafter34's farm and farmed that till i got enough money to buy a 20*20 plot in swampistan which was owned by slacker965 and mikelefebvre I then built a house and continued to farm icrafter34's farm until i had enough money to buy 6 10*10 plots which i then built a auto wheat farm where i farmed until i had enough money for res and then i farmed until i could afford mayor where i built my town on top of my home that was out in the middle of know where.
My first plot was a 10x10 cobblestone house in FortOcelot. It was made of cobble because I was going to move soon, and I didn't really want to spend TONS of time on a house that I would move. I lived just outside of the pumpkin farm, across from grinch9594's house. Now, I live somewhat in FortLynx and in my new town, Oakvale :3
