I am soon to be purchasing a second row station along blue row in the market. My goal is to provide everyone with fair prices for the items they need most.
So my question is, what do you buy most from market stations? I am also interested in the kind of things you would be looking to sell.
Some other questions:
Would you rather buy blocks in 8's or 64's?
Would signs converting ore to ingots interest you (you trade 64 ore for 63 ingots)?
Do you use/buy potions? If so, which ones?
Looking forward to replies!

I'm struggling to sell potions.
I generally buy blocks I need for a build but cannot easily get. -

I suggest selling huge amounts of dirt. Can't tell you how much time I spent going around market trying to find good priced dirt!
Edit: Sorry, I just realized this came out weird, I was trying to fill in a town and I was to lazy to get all the dirt myself-

What do you buy most from market stations? Mostly building blocks that I dont want to buy from the server or take the time to collect. Quartz is a big one.
Would you rather buy blocks in 8's or 64's? 64's by far, I dont have the time to click a sign 100 times. (32's are a nice in between tho)
Do you use/buy potions? If so, which ones? No, I used speed 2 when I was a resident tho. -

Hm when i was a pleb, it was diamonds. Only diamonds, all the time, for pvp. lol. Now I buy food mainly, sometimes other stuff. :)

Oddly, the base materials like logs, planks, stone, stone brick and dirt sell incredibly well.
Potions are hit or miss, and already there are several shops (including mine) that specialize in that product.
If you wanted to give people more options you could have a sign selling 8 of each item and another 64 of the same. Sometimes you only need a little, then sometimes you need a lot. Up to you, though.
An attractive shop design is also helpful in drawing customers as much as what you're selling is.-

The 8 or 64 block really depends on the block itself.
I wanna buy dirt in 256 cause chances are im coming for a lot.
Stone/cobble/brick is something id sell in stacks
Things like quarts youre gonna wanna sell in 8
Prismarine things go for like 8-16-

I like to mine a lot, so the main thing I have bought from station was diamonds when I first started (went through three diamond picks before finding out about /erep) and the other thing I buy / have bought is experience.
What I'm looking for is a station that buys stuff other than Nstars and Exp...I can barely sell my emeralds, ended up giving them to a newbie because I didn't want to take the time to go find somewhere to sell them...thought he could take the time and get some money to get him started...But I'd sell all my cobble and dirt for .06 instead of .05 server price. So I'm looking for people who buy things...I mean lapis and diamond and redstone I sell to server but would like to get a big more for if I could...-

Okay so at the moment on the bottom floor I'm having the essentials, dirt, stone, stone bricks etc. Also got all types or planks, logs and leaves along with an array of blocks from sponges to prismarine. I also plan on stock food such as baked potatoes and melon slices, do any of you buy food/sell food in your own shops?

Glad you have the blocks you mentioned, like others said those are the top selling blocks most of the time. Hint with the sponges - every time you log in, do /kit water, and put the sponge in the sponge sign, and put the 64 ice in your ice sign. Easy way to keep those stocked.
Like kmax said, potions are very hit-or-miss; I don't sell potions at station 14 because there were plenty of shops with well-established potion markets already. I just sell potion ingredients along with some other miscellaneous items.
Also, if you haven't already seen it, https://ecocitycraft.com/forum/threads/137169/ ;)-

I mostly buy baked potatoes, and generally food.
I'm still starting out and I mostly hit the mines.
I'm still mining with iron picks but occasionally buy diamonds when I want to boost my mining. -
@Astrono are you still doing this iron pick/occasional diamond pick thing? I'd definitely get 1 diamond pick, and when it gets near breaking you can ask in the trade room for an "erep"...many will fix your pick for free, I usually pay a tip of $50 if I do it in the middle of mining and they are kind enough to teleport to me. Save up for enchanting that pick, eff 5 and fortune 3 and unbreaking 3 (I did unbreaking last because you can still get an erep of enchanted tools). Experience is about $700 for 1000 exp so these enchatments are pretty affordable...
If you have a town plot, some towns come with erep services as well as a farm. My first town has a small farm, but it had potatoes so you can bake your own...not that food is terribly pricey...but i've taken one crop and am still chewing on those darn baked potatoes and that was like...10 days ago... and you can always do /kit starter once a day for some pork chops if you need. My second town actually has a food bank for new players and the mayor is kind enough to do ereps for her town members.-
