xD guys, please keep it to suggestions on what I could do to help better your experience on ECC if I'm a moderator
What? So no one is allowed to be on staff after they've been banned and there's a large majority of staff that have been banned after being on the team? I have no clue as to what you're talking about.
I happen to disagree with this as there are now several moderators, myself included that have builder apartments.
Probably pay attention to chat, it's one of the most important things a staff member has to do but so many seem to slack in that area leaving 1 or 2 mods to deal with onpeak chat.
@29dude What happens if said staff members get banned for scamming someone on accident? Then what? Formulate a counter argument and solution to that problem please.
You seem to be creating a problem by twisting what he said. His argument is that the freedom ex-staff members feel once they have left the staff team leads them to abuse it and break rules. So by reducing the strict rules placed on staff members, the difference between being staff and not being staff isn't so great in terms of freedom, leading to less of a 'wooo I'm no longer staff so I can do what I want!!11!' type feeling. (At least I think that is what the point is. @29dude please correct me if I'm wrong) I don't know where you've created this 'problem' from.
staff tend to single out players for warns. warns are not even at all. you can troll and spam and harass users and some staff don't care at all, but add one extra character to your chat and youll get a warn from some staff. Some staff truly have no clue how the server works. This is mostly blue mods and a few smods. Today I was trying to ask a question in global and then by pming staff and it took 2 hours to get it answered. They either just flat out ignored me or were afk. Not good. This is just the surface.
Yeah this is a big issue too, just the general laziness some staff have, answering questions is really easy, 90% of the time you can just tell someone to use /help <whatever> and that answers the question and the ones that would follow.
@oxwood2 Touched on a good point, AFK staff members. If staff aren't able to answer questions or help at a point in time, then make sure you have an afk message, if it's going to take a while, log off. Users are going to assume you are available when you are online, and I have also had it many times where I had to ask 3 or more staff members before I got a response.
