What are you suggesting:

MinecraftStats is a web browser app that can link to the server, and can display all types of player stats, very similar to the statistics you can see in the settings of your client, such as here


There are 100s of different stats that this tracks, from fun little things like the number of times a player has rang a bell, to the number of tools you've broken, all the stats can be viewed via a website that is parsed from the servers statistics.

The presentation is done by giving awards to players for certain achievements. For example, the player who played on the server for the longest total time receives the Addict award. Every award has a viewable ranking associated to it with medals - the award holder gets the gold medal, the second the silver medal and the third the bronze medal for the award. Each medal gives players a crown score (1 for every bronze medal, 2 for every silver, 4 for every gold medal), which is displayed in a server hall of fame.



One thing I like with this is the ability to track certain statistics for a certain amount of time, this will be great for running random little events. For example, let's say we are running a mining event, we can see how many ores each player has broken in a given timeframe, and these will be shown in a leaderboard.

Why is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?:

I think this will be a fun little addition to ECC, and will add some competition from doing some of the more mundane things in Minecraft, not all of the statistics need to be shown, it is highly customizable and lightweight.​
