I break spawners that aren't set up while I go on mining trips if I encounter them ( which is really rare). As for repairing items and Tping back, I tp people to me while mining But the exp market is gonna probably go down a lil bit now that mining world was reset.
I break every spawner I find, except if I want to use it myself. There's no real reason for it, I just do it because it's what I do. if I find a doublespawner then usually I'll improve it, though.
I remember a time back when there was a group of players dedicated to breaking every spawn block in the mining world during every reset. Threads like this only spark the fire - sometimes it is much better not to vent on the forum.
I'll break any spawner I come across naturally. Set-up or not. A spawner is worth XP, and by breaking it I get some. As a previous member of that 'group', I no longer actively hunt idle players or spawners, but know it can be fun. If I see a spawner due to an e-repair, I won't touch it. I feel that doing so would be in bad taste. They have implicitly put trust in me and I feel the decent thing to do is not abuse that trust. If you don't want your spawner destroyed, then just spend a couple of minutes to hide it. And when you leave it, make sure to "turn it off." Honestly, a few extra minutes and you'll be able to keep multiple spawners safe the entire reset.
