So it's time to start thinking expansion again. My last expansion took me from warp bedrock to warp sell, and was a huge upgrade in terms of lay out and number of chest. It's time to do this again! Over the next 3-4 weeks warp sell will be going through some changes, no worries it will remain open the entire time. I will be bringing back the fish chests with some other bulk stuff. This is where I need your help and feedback. Should warp sell dedicate a spot for actually selling items? There have been some heated discussions over the past month about getting certain blocks such as colored wool and colored concrete. So would it make sense for warp sell to tackle this issue in an attempt to help out? If warp sell does start selling items should we allow other players to to do so in stalls pertaining to certain areas, for example a woodcutters stall only selling different types of wood, or a shepherds stall for wool? Naturally rules would apply for keeping items in stock and keeping prices fair ( no need to stay stocked if your prices are so high no one will buy). If warp sell decides to tackle this issue what would you like to see being sold? Wooden logs, foods, wools, glass, concrete, terracotta or something completely different? This would be a new direction so I'm open to any and all feedback.
I 100% believe that having stalls with different types of things to sell would be extremely helpful, considering the size of /warp sell. I think selling rarer block/building blocks would be a good market to enter, as not a ton of people are in on the market (at least not to the size I'm sure you're capable of). Wood variants (of all kinds), terracottas, wools, concretes, glasses like you said, definitely. Foods? Eh, maybe.
@killrdarknes I just threw foods in there because of the variants and I've had a few builders ask me if I sold food. The big question is should I maintain it or have stalls with other players who maintain it.
@blgordon rent out stalls tbh. You can get a good price for renting since your warp has very high foot traffic. Less work for you AND you get a steady cash flow.
I Agree with Killr, have your own /warp market in a way, but make it small stalls that anyone can rent. it will definitely bring in some cash flow, along with giving them the ability to control the stock so you don't have to worry about what YOU need to sell
If you are in need of a colored concrete stall, I'd be interested in purchasing a spot. I already sell at the lowest price on server so keeping prices/stock won't be an issue.
I agree with killr as well and I would be interested in participating via stall rental or whatever. I'm not looking to make an ECC living keeping a shop stocked but I do like having some chores to do. I'd shut down my shop at warp trade and move it to warp sell in a heartbeat.
