I agree, but a betta idea (IMO) is that for like 1$ counts towards some type of Raffle, but i like the idea.

 

Well, andrewkm likes to give EcoCityCraft donators...rewards for donating. Like Jets said, a little prize, such as a Mini Raffle ticket, would be good. I honestly donating is not complete without some sort of reward. Like, when you donate to this guys on the street. No home, no food, no nothing. But 2$ can make a difference, and I feel rewarded when I do that. But giving away free money? I don't think it's such a good idea. Good point, though.

 

I like the idea but to add to it id say the medals as you get them you should get a additional in game type thing for them maybe a little bit of eco$'s. I think that would get more people donating just to donate. The way things are set up now its more of a purchase kinda like how alot of online mmo's are doing things now, can play for free or purchase additional features and items on alot of them.

Only problem i can see with this is people donating like your said just 2$? Maybe should be like a limit cause i think paypal takes some of the donation and a 2$ donation would be like a 1.73 or something like that (not sure the exact ammount paypal charges) which is hardly helpful to the server :p.

 

Not sure how this would even work with small amounts. There are no donation features for lower than $10 USD due to PayPal eating money / Canadian conversion.

Being able to donate for no gain on our end would be neat, though. Most people probably won't donate that way if it has to be no lower than $10 USD. :b
