Minecraft Username: PixelGuy75 Brief Description: It is possible to tell if someone is vanished if the user running the /seen command is on a different server than the vanished user. Instructions: 1.) Have someone vanish on main or mainnorth. 2.) Go to a different server than whichever server the vanished user is on. 3.) Type /seen (vanished user) How many times did you recreate this?: 2 times Result: The result I got was a message saying: Error: Player not found. Perhaps they are on a different server? Expected Result: It should say the user's last visible time on the server as it does if you check a vanished user's /seen on the same server. Evidence: N/A
While doesn't directly tell you someone is online it does get stuck at player has last been seen since: now/1s allowing for you to easily tell if someone is vanished. I think that has always been a thing and may be intended. But still seems to defeat the purpose of being vanished.
I have now retested this @andrewkm. It now starts at 1hr 33min and then adds the time you're in /v to that. Definitely will be harder to tell players are in /v now. Seems to be working as intended. Thanks @HypeDav for being the guinea pig for the test.
Thanks for following up in this thread with a new report. I have added this to our development todo list.
