    /tpa (which everyone uses) isn't vanilla, it's a plugin.

/tp is vanilla but it's restricted because it's force tp, which we don't want everyone using.

As for the actual suggestion, I disagree because that's what the purpose of features is for- to unlock more things. If everyone had access to all vanilla aspects of the game, there wouldn't be much to unlock.

Isn't vanilla supposed to have no commands at all? When creating a single player world, it is under the CHEATS parameter. And cheats don't sound very vanilla.

    OK, I take that back.

-1, to the suggestion, by the way. It has been like this for ages. Sorry to disappoint, but the chances of changing this are very slim. Our server isn't exactly vanilla, but at least we don't use crazy plugins like some do. Features are an essential part of the economy and the gameplay, as well as a source of income for the server. Making them free for all will be bad for the marker, and will also cause a shitstorm from those who had to pay.

Repair isn't vanilla either really. Anvils are though. I'm surprised no one mentioned that before. As for pyro and water, in vanilla, you can place water and lava, but the no drowning and lava burning aren't though. They come as potions in vanilla, which are already available to you without features.

    Edit: -1

Hardly anyone charges for water, pyro, and e-repair services. All you have to do is ask

Gotta disagree hard. Let's say I agree to this (which I don't), then the players who actually bought the features would be screwed out of their money.

The features that restrict vanilla gameplay are not hard blocks, or, if they are in the rare case of anvils it's because they infringe on another pre-existing feature.

I'll go over the ones you mentioned and why we restrict it.

Repair via Anvils - This infringed on our /repair command via the ExtCommands+ package. We added it to that package so as not to invalidate/remove that feature from usefulness. /repair existed before the anvil was added.

Shulker Boxes - These are an absolute nightmare on the backend. They have no proper API to work from, and cause a plethora of problems administratively. We wanted to restrict them, and add them to a feature that players have been promised new things in (ExtCreations++).

TP - As mentioned before, the "vanilla" tp is a forced TP, which allows you to force players to eachother, other locations. This simply doesn't work in an economy server, or any server for that matter. It also can be used to invade other players bases due to the coord tp. Hence this being replaced via /tpa.

Dispensers - These bypass the water/pyro features, hence being added to them.

Water/Pyro - Used to possibly greif on a massive scale. (Has happened before, and even by donors.) The same reason applies for Pyro, but with a more severe level of greif possible.

I'm sure you can understand the reasoning behind this.

For water, we allow placement of water/ice once per minute. Shulker boxes, once placed are free for use by anyone. And as many people have specified above, the community is great about helping out with features for little to no fee.
