I started buying out the market of nStars yesterday after coming back to ECC and liquidating some of my assets. This appears to have prompted Taddortot to alter his shop sign from 10 nStars for $38,990 ($3,899 per) to a massive 10 nStars for $425,000 ($42,500 per). I was in this shop yesterday so I was under the assumption that I wouldn't be paying an additional $38,601 for every nStar (stacks of 10). I caught on after purchasing 130 nStars thank god. But this comes out to be $5,525,000 in damages.
I feel this is deliberate and scummy behavior from a former staff member who built a reputation based on player trust.

If Taddortot drops the unit price by %10, ie $4,250 per rather than $42.5k, paying me back $4,972,500 in game I'd consider this complaint resolved and chalk it up to a typo.

From what I can tell based on what happened, this was indeed a typo on taddortot's part. What I don't understand is why you didn't talk to taddortot first and try to get this resolved, I am absolutely sure he would have been glad to fix it and give you your money back. There was no point in this complaint.
Regardless of any intention, it is the responsibility of a user to make sure they're okay with whatever deal is being offered by a chest shop before interacting with it. There is no indication of malicious behavior, just a mistake on a sign.
Complaint dismissed.-
