Accused Username: Minecraft2ShowComplaint: removed me as an owner from Newport with no prior notice for not moving chests when asked. the chests are floating in the air as a result of minecraft2show removing the building that was there.Evidence: Additional Information: i just want to get my stuff out so i can build in my own town. it seems like hes trying to be a pain in my ass to get to me. Havent talked to him in over a week now and this is how he retaliates.
He was told multiple times to move all his things and he refused, so I took his perms for like 20 minutes and he came on here to complain. Maybe he shouldn't have told his friend to destroy the entire town if he planned on crying about his perms being taken to the forums. After seeing the petty grief, I took BOTH of your perms this time and banned you both from the region. I will be more than happy to have him remove his belongings under staff supervision.
i was removed from the claim before the grief happened. i did not grief anything nor did i ask for a grief to occur. the entire region around my town is destroyed my lava and water thanks to minecraft2show. As far as being asked to move my things from the floating chests. i told him not right now im doing something to which he replied your getting removed as owner. i was then removed completely with no chance to grab my belongings. when i mentioned that he said i don't own a house in his town. As i asked for an admin he said "im getting off. Good luck with that." if i was asked to move the charity chests before the building was destroyed then i could have done it without struggle. However the building was fully removed and the chests where left floating 60 blocks in the air. He never mentioned anything before he did the demolition on the charity.
This was a very very minor dispute that escalated far beyond what it needed to. Had certain people remained calm, respected the process and waited for things to be handled properly we would not be in this situation. Unfortunately @Minecraft2Show you are very much in the wrong here. We have server rules governing how you may remove people from a town, when, what needs to happen and under what circumstances. The rules are rather simple but must be obeyed - you cannot simply revoke perms and call it a day. Listed on the Main Server Rules here: Town Evictions & Seizures Mayors are allowed to add any members to their town as they see fit. However, we have rules on how they can go about removing/evicting members. A mayor cannot remove a member from their town unless one of the following criteria is met: The user being removed was given a 3 days advance notice via in-game mail or forum PM/post. The user being removed was punished by staff for griefing the town. The user being removed has been offline ingame for 7+ days. In the event that such an eviction occurs, town owners may also request staff remove the LWC Protections or Chestshops of the player(s) in question. All requests are subject to our Protection Removal Guidelines in the staff request forum. In addition - it is always good to collect timestamped evidence of an eviction notice when you send it, that way in such a dispute as this you can protect yourself and prove that the eviction is valid. Now for this complaint: I went ahead and looked into everything you've done in the past day or two regarding this; This was your entire interaction prior to removing Slicco from the town - you gave him, what 60 seconds to remove his chests which he could not access without fly. Then logged off and basically said "haha, good luck". You also did not re-add his perms to the town until this morning, which you removed again soon after. Your claim of 20 minutes of perms removal is false. Also the grief done to 'newport' by a completely unrelated user was done well after your dispute with Slicco over perms. There is also no evidence that Slicco facilitated or requested the grief that happened. In addition you have decided to troll the outside of @SliccoHitsCubes town 'oldport' with an excess of water/lava/cobblestone as well as inappropriate structures - something that is also against our rules. I am also aware you caused significant damage to the town of 'north_newport', which is owned by @PencilvesterOG, while he listed you as someone being able to edit the area, with the amount grief reported and the signs at the griefed locations being the same as the ones at your work around oldport - clearly done with malicious intent. With your refusal to resolve the dispute peacefully, the accusations and the escalated actions of grief I have decided you will take a ban for all this. @SliccoHitsCubes please contact a @STAFF-03 Game Admin or myself to assist you with moving your things from newport into your town. Also the grief at newport was rolled-back - after Staff had processed the report and let me know it needed to be done, as we said would happen. My end notes here is that we were perfectly happy to help you resolve this in a mature and less extreme matter. You do have the right to evict anyone from a town for any reason - provided you follow our eviction rules. All you were asked for was evidence of eviction, or at least your side of this dispute - which is standard on most complaints. It didn't need to escalate to the grief of two other towns and the building of inappropriate structures outside one of them.
