MaizahComplaint:
At some time in between 00:00 (CDT) on Sunday, 26 March 2015 and approximately 09:15 (CDT) on Sunday, 26 March 2015, my (now former) mayor, Maizah of Tenrei, posted a warning of eviction inside my chest room, which I had set to my home named "home" (via multihome), by way of putting two signs on one piece of cobblestone each. I learned of that at approximately 16:30 (CDT) on Sunday, 26 March 2015. I also learned that I was evicted when I tried to remove the signs. I immediately executed the command "/seen maizah" to see how long the user had been online for. Maizah had logged out of ECC before I got on. I do not remember the specific time as I had not screenshotted or recorded the time in any way, but I do know that it was prior to 09:15 (CDT) when Maizah had logged off. The exact time I'm still not sure of. As the notice was posted while I was offline and I was evicted whilst still offline (in direct violation of ECC Server Rules §5 Clause 3 Line 5) and I was, therefore, unable to view the notice of eviction (which was also presented in a way not valid according to ECC Server Rules §5 Clause 3 Line 2).Evidence:
Not only am I reporting the user for unlawfully notifying me and then evicting me prior to the possibility of me being able to view the invalid notification of eviction, I am also reporting the user for providing a period of time less than three days between notification of eviction and eviction (in direct violation of ECC Server Rules §5 Clause 3 Line 1).
I've got around five or six pieces of photographic evidence in the same imgur album, so instead of linking every image, I'm going to link the album right here: Additional Information:
One of the photos is a screenshot of the mail I received today (27 April 2015) and read the same day at approximately 16:00 (CDT) from the defendant. It includes a small portion of a private message exchange between myself and another user. One of the private messages I sent included one profane word. Neither the sender nor the recipient of that message were offended or otherwise bothered by that word and I apologise for capturing that specific message in the screenshot.
Additionally, the defendant accused me of griefing outside the town. I would like to refute that statement for multiple reasons. One, it was not inside the town, therefore it was allowed (according to ECC Server Rules §2 Clause 1 Line 6). Additionally, ECC Server Rules §2 Clause 1 Line 1 defines griefing as, and I quote, "[...] breaking or destroying things that do not belong to you [... and] building things in areas that do not belong to you." I apologise if this is in violation of ECC's anti-lawyering rule, but I was not building anything in any area that did not belong to me (unless ECC Server Rules §2 Clause 1 Line 1 has elevated precedence over ECC Server Rules §2 Clause 1 Line 6). I have since voluntarily destructed the structure in question (which was a 2x2 vertical arrangement of glowstone with signs on the top stating that I do not comply with unlawful evictions, though I did not name any specific names).
Anyway, my number one request is that I be granted temporary building/mining rights in the town (approximately 24-48 hours but no less than 24 hours) so that I may destruct my house (which I actually constructed from scratch) as I constructed the house throughout a period of two days using no materials or tools but my own. I understand that I would not normally get the ability to destruct the property following an eviction (or at least in real life; I don't remember seeing a rule apply to this whilst reading over the ECC Server Rules), but I believe an exception should be granted due to the unruly nature of this eviction.
On a scale of one to ten with ten being the most, I would rank the previous paragraph (in terms of how much I believe the stated results should happen) as a 9.5-10. I would like to see a full refund of the cost of the plot ($1,000 exactly) but if I had to choose between the previous paragraph and being refunded the cost of the plot, I would definitely choose the previous paragraph.
My goal is not to see Maizah demoted to a resident and his town auctioned off. Frankly, I don't really care if Maizah is punished or not. I, frankly, would just like to be able to destruct my house for the materials. I already removed all contents from the chests (except for a few chests which had junk--i.e. dirt/gravel/cobblestone/etc.--in them), though I did not destruct them as I can't because I was evicted. If you would like to reprimand or demote Maizah, be my guest. Who am I to stop you? But I'm not pushing for any specific form of punishment because that is not my goal.

@Maizah
Please explain your side of the story.
Also, if you have it I'd like to see a time-stamped screenshot of when you presented a proper eviction notice to @nikalsaki-

*edit* Wait... you can't access your chests? o_O
I thought removing you from the town's permissions just prevented you from changing blocks in the town. I was rather confident that he still had access to chests that he locked while not a member of the town so long as the Use:deny flag was not set...
My apologies. I intend to talk to the user in-game about this. I don't want to ban him from the town or anything like that. I'll add him back to the town, but ask that he not modify ANY blocks in the town until this is sorted out. *edit*
For the record, I haven't decided that anyone is going to be evicted. I would love to keep nikalsaki a member of my town. I just need to talk with him (I keep getting on about an hour after he logs off >_>). I'll try to get on earlier tomorrow to talk with him.

Ok... I just re-read the entire post, as I misread it the first time I read it >_>...
I have not yet evicted nikalsaki. I just need to discuss something with him regarding activity in the town (the investigation). I would very much like to keep nikalsaki as a member of my town, and his house as a structure in the town. If he still decides to leave after all of this is sorted out, I am more than happy to return his materials to him. I most certainly do not want any hard feelings between us. -

@Maizah
You cannot just remove a users perms from the town out of the blue like that regardless of town flags. They need either a 3-day eviction notice, be 7+ days offline, or be banned/warned by a Staff Member via a Grief Report before you can just remove perms. I don't see any of these circumstances here, for that reason I will need to see that @nikalsaki is added back to the town. I will leave this complaint open and wait for a response from @nikalsaki to confirm that everything is resolved.-

@ClarinetPhoenix I would say that this dispute between @Maizah and myself has been resolved. Feel free to lock the thread.
