Well, after reviewing over the video, I have come to a rather complex conclusion that most might not exactly see. So I shall explain it. To start, the video in which you have provided does not show lolelf123, here's why.
At the time marker of 1:35, you can see that lolelf123's player figure is glitched within the purple wool block (right before the fence covers him in the video). This shows to me that lolelf123's player character is being effected from what I like to call "player displacement." This means that his figure, as well as his player hit box and all other visual aspects are in a different position than you can actually see.
To put it simply, you see him glitched in a wool block about 4 blocks away from you, when in actually he's standing much closer to you not glitched at all. Which brings me to the next part, why it seems like he's hitting you from further away that physically possible. This is explained as previously stated, his character hit box is displaced on your screen, but he's closer to you than you can actually be able to hit him. Thus is why he is able to hit you, but you can't hit him at the equivalent distance. As well, at 1:43-1:44 you'll see that lolelf123's nametag cuts through the block below, which we obviously know doesn't happen in Minecraft. The only other explanation for it is player displacement.
Now, I'm not saying this has been the case for every single hacking complaint that's been made ever, but that is what is going on in this video you have provided me. Please take time to review evidence for validity before submitting it in the future... seeing as though many users appear to have agreed/supported with this complaint.
