Before this is locked, I would like to make sure to remind ECC users of a rule that seems to be forgotten by many of us. Attempted scamming does result in a ban for the user at fault. From the wiki:

EDIT: As Dewsy stated here, and I will reiterate, I am not accusing StoneIronZ of any wrongdoing. He has a long history of being a trustworthy user. It is perfectly possible that he did not see the mail, did not check the sign, ect. ect. However, I just wanted to post a reminder to everybody encouraging them to try their hardest to solve issues in game rather than posting a complaint. This way, no further issues may arise.

Mildly attempted scamming... surely there should be repercussions? (As @SKSoccer noted)

Ok, after consulting with the staff team on this issue, we have come to a decision. We have decided that this falls under the category of attempted scamming. @StoneIronZ will be banned for attempting to scam another user.
