When I was playing on ECC yesterday my eff. 4 unb. 3 silk touch daxe, and a pro. 4 diamond chestplate completely disappeared from the game :( . Here's how it happened. I retrieved the two items from my repair chest in laff80's spawn shop, tped to my house, then put the axe in my tool chest and the chestplate in my armor chest. About 5 seconds later the server restarted. When I rejoined the game the items were not in the chests I put them in. They weren't in my inventory, and they weren't in my repair chest either. Can anyone help me understand what happened to them, and is there any way to get them back?

I can almost gaurentee I know what happened.
In ecc during a rollback, chests do not get rolled back. Only blocks/player inventories. So, combined with 1.3 lagfiness, this is what i think happened
1. Have empty inventory
2. Fill with tools
3. Place in chest, but had not registered as in thechest yet cause of lag
4. Restart
5. Items should bein chest, but arent because chests dont get rolled back, whereas your inventory got rolled back to empty -

Yeah I know, just trying to figure out how it happened I guess.
That makes sense. Is there any way to know when the server is going to restart so I can leave everything alone before it happens?
