If this donation is nerfed I believe donators should have the opportunity to be reimbursed. I paid for buffer, not a nerfed parody of it...
Hmm, this is just a little too late for this. We've lost hundreds upon thousands of players due to buffer. You'll need to remove the strength potion, or there's no point in changing it at all. It's the sign of ECC's downfall, and if you want to keep it, fine. You're just shooting yourselves at this point keeping it...
Okay having played sg for a while, I think the main problem is the swift 2 pot being able to outrun players instead of using skill in bows to get them. As such I would like the swift pot to be removed. Also makes catching hackers a lot easier. As for the strength 2 pot, I would enjoy it wearing off after one kill so you can't chain kills.
Im asking a question to help with my reaponse to the issue at hand. This is from a potential soon to be sg'er. Are there kit arenas and non kit arenas?
There's a 1 in 8 chance at the start of any game that kits are disabled and are removed from the inventory.
Would it be a good idea to have a strictly non kit arena and a kit arena for people who want to use kits?
Actually, when you donated to the server you accepted the terms and agreements which stated no refunds and that they are allowed to change the donation features.
Thats a great idea for making more people leave. So if they are trying to get more people on the server, don't change anything.
Ecc's dying. If they keep it this way, it's not gonna go very well. If people keep leaving at this rate, the server will shut down and your donation features won't matter.
Ok. Here's my further input on this. I agree with @oxwood2 that the swiftness is a problem. Bfr is not op just because of the strength, its everything. Of course, the strength is a large part of the problem, but it isn't the only problem. I see people drinking swiftness of spawn, and lets say I drop them to 3 hearts, they sprint away and do two things. 1. splash a few potions quickly 2. drink strength. They always have a plan b, thanks to the swiftness. I think right now, anything that can nerf bfr just a little bit, has to be done.
Lets say hypothetically this happens, we will still have the bfr users being unhappy. This arena would be swarmed, and I'm pretty sure people without bfr would wait for a no kit game than to join a small game with bfr in it.
Why would the kits arena not have a lot of players esp since it seems alot of people have purchased kits. Of course not as many as a non kit arena but that's with anything of difficulty. You have to start somewhere. Also I look at this scenario such as a video game. At some point in time you want to go to the next stage next level. In this instance is the kit arena. Playing and being good in an arena with no kits and you earn money you could in turn purchase those kits from users selling features to prepare you for the next level when you're ready. Win win...more people stay and play no kits and eventually convert to kit arena players when they get better. Constant growth versus scaring off new players who could become kit users. I know I personally would eventually purchase kits for myself. I don't now cause I die instantly in kit games and have no idea how to use them or their purpose. So not really worth my time since, I've never played sg before joining ECC. But I would love to get started playing it.
Il keep it simple for you. I paid 90 usd for bfrpp I want the bfrpp that I paid for. I will not stand to have any changes unless I am payed back in full for what I paid for it. And yes I suppose store credit will be suffice as I do not expect any real money returned. Also @oxwood2 unfortunately I absolutely disagree with you in any way shape or form. The speed 2 pot is what allows you to catch up to someone which is why the strength pot isn't a waste. If u didn't have the speed 2 pot strength would be useless since they could easily outrun you until strength is over. However the only thing i do agree is that it would be easier to catch hackers. Also if the strength two pot is only valid for 1 kill then that is pointless as well. So let's say me and @oxwood2 were teaming and we both had buffer and we were against @BackToThePast once he kills one of us he loses his buffer and then the person that wasn't killed can just kill him. So the whole idea of buffer running out after 1 kill will never happen. Also I do not know why this thread. Has been created as phys clearly told everyone in global chat last night that there will be absolutely no changes in kit buffer
