Mine is the General Grant tree in Sequoia National Park, Yosemite California. I went to see it last summer. It is the biggest tree in the world, with enough wood to build 47 large houses. Named after General Ulysses Grant of the Union Army. It is a giant sequoia. Although it is not the tallest tree in the world. The tallest tree in the world can be found a few miles away from Grant and is also a giant sequoia. That tree is the General Sherman tree, named after Grant's right hand man in the civil war. Sherman tore a path through the southern confederacy setting everything ablaze. Unfortunately, many trees died because of these fires. It is then ironic that the tallest tree in the world should be named after him.
There ya go, the Australian Boab.... now this is a weird but simply stunning tree Google them, they look like they are upside down and the roots are in the air
