Put the item in your hand, then type "/sell hand"

This is one way to sell directly to the server, but type "/sell" for many more ways.

There's also the option of selling to other users, either through the Market, our Trade chat ("/ch tr") or our Auction chat ("/ch auc"). Because you're Resident, you also have the option of making Trade signs - There's tutorials for these on our Wikipedia.
