Denied TPA

I just thought of something, the leadership people can ignore this point because it is small

But it will affect people with tpa.

For example: someone in tr says "i need someone to tpa playerexaple100 to me, paying 200". If i tpa -ed them to each other, i would get 200. However, if they already had tpa, then they could just tpa to each other, and boom, theoretically, i just lost 200. It may be a small loss, but by adding this, people with tpa are technically loosing one of their many ways to make money, therefor hurting them.

however, i still think this will still help builders, +1/3 is my current opinion

 

I actually see MANY people do tps for free. I dont think any feature really makes money much at all. Too many people do it for free.

 

That is why i said in my post that it was small...

 

Its so small though it shouldn't even be a factor.

 

In my time on the server I have never seen anybody pay for a tp, if somebody told me to pay, I would just simply ask a staff member and get it done for free. There is no market for it because there is always somebody on that is willing to do it for free

 

so... you guys are trying to prove that a point wont be a factor when i said you could ignore it...

I paid for my teleport feature, I don't charge to teleport players to one another, I still get to use mine with only 5 second cool down, what logic reason on earth could I possibly have to want to keep things difficult for friends to join the server together and play together? It hurts no one. I mean should we throw away our anti biotics because your great great great grandfather had to fight scarlet fever the hard way? Don't be dense, this makes the server a better place. I would relish players being able to use tp, it makes more sense and I don't really wanna drop what I'm doing all the time to shuttle people when they should have the means to do it themselves. This changes nothing, I would have still wanted the feature so I didn't have to wait 15 minutes.

The selfish stubborn pointlessly negative attitudes coming out sometimes with these new changes is really boggling my mind.

Also to all of you super salty people:
Not only is 15 minutes a long cool down compared to normal tp you are complaining about an amount of money so small it doesn't even matter. It's what $20 or something you spent 2 years ago? That's like the cost of a pizza who cares...

 

As someone who paid for the feat. And a few others. I say either the free feat should be 20 min cool down or I should have no cool down idc if I spent 1 or 20 bucks it real money I have to have the feat. I've made money doing it for others. It's an economic server.

You have to find a balance here that doesn't screw over people who actually support the server. Gl

Or I should get a partial refund/credit. This is bs. Sorry/not sorry. I think giving it to everyone is fine. But it makes me feel like my contribution isn't valued at the way this proposed. We have lots of new players and it's a feat that could be given to them at resident or mayor, something. But I've given over 100$$$ to this server and its bs.

And the rudeness of the staff in this thread trying to support their claims is unprofessional and should be criticized. Calling people names cause you disagree with them is not a leadership skill and is gross incompetence.

I think you should consider that we all benefit greatly by attracting and more importantly KEEPING new people on the server, even if it requires getting over some things in order to offer a feature, a utility really, that most servers offer new users. If we let the server die because we were stubborn about past contributions then our past contributions quickly become absolutely worthless. What if the cooldown for people with the feature was reduced to 3 seconds? Also calm down a hair, this is where we talk things out :3

Baffling or not, I respect that others have other opinions and am willing to hear out other solutions.

 

Refund? Wtf. For one our real money could be seen as... idk.. helping the server? I know mine is. If there is some sort of refund or compensation i say leave my name off the list. Tpa wasnt to much. Let my money go towards helping the server. Besides, iv realized a 15 min cooldown would be just fine. I use my tpa a LOT when moving materials so i still wouldve bought it.

 

Not for me. It was helping the server but also paying for a service. Anyway. New player ### are through the roof so idk where this keeps coming from. Also I meant refund in Ecd not Usd. (I figured this was obvious) but only partial refund cause if we use the fake economic model we did for the increase of neither stars. Now that everyone has it it should be worth less. Thus I want the difference in ecd refunded.

 

You call 120 through the roof..? Cause thats the highest iv seen recently. Thats not too much. I mean it is a good number but we could do way better.

There was no refund for the water, i doubt thered be a refund here as a cooldown would be enough.

 

Yeah think about a 15 minute cool down, that would be darn inconvenient enough tbh. 15 minutes until you can tp to your friend again.

 

@strongpelt I agree with your second paragraph completely. If you care to read through my other comments I suggested the shorter cool down time already. I specifically -1 "AS PROPOSED" because I don't agree with the suggestion as proposed and in this thread that is what matters. however in your first paragraph you say "I mean it's a good number " so thank you for your agreement and criticism. I appreciate your incite and opinion.
@oootopia I think the builders will use it once then "mods can you tp me...." For 15 mins Lol.
