Okay, I see your point, not a bad idea. I might take you up on your coal ore offer. But wouldn't this just encourage people to mine coal > double what they mine into charcoal?
I hope that after people trade their coal for double charcoal they reduce the need to mine any more. Realistically though, if someone needs coal they're likely to mine it in the mining world which leaves the mainworld ore deposits untouched. Yes though, it is possible for people to mine more coal just to trade for charcoal. What I do to balance that is encourage people to build tree farms for their fuel needs, I even take time out of my day to teach people how to construct tree farms that are both efficient and cater to their specific needs.
