The twin towers in ecc

Chill, he just pointed out you need to treat people with more respect before asking for nearly 200k in donations. Also if you have money in signs why on earth do you need all these donations?

 

I just want to have my say in this before It gets built. Im an australian but i was still Sad when 9/11 happend. It was a terrible day for all americans. If you are gonna build these buildings that are now worshiped in america You better not rave on about how good you built them like you did to me.

2nd Why in hell do you need donations. This is a server to earn cash by farming/mining and many more. Don't ask people for cash go make it your self you lazy player. I was in debt for -201k but i only recived a total of 25k in donations from friends being kind. The rest i farmed.

3rd I don't aggree with getting some player to donate you 85k for mayor. Defeats the purpose of playing. Like i said above make it your self, Don't be lazy.

And finaly I wont be suporting this or wont give a crap about it. Im just concerned that one day a player will come online and see that and they might be related to the 9/11 inccident and thats gonna cause things to be messy. Why not build something other then 2 simple rectangular houses. If you calim to be a top builder then build the tower of dubai. or something else. You come to my nice house and say its a cube well guess what your building now a bloody rectangle :|

 

Your attitude is filled with complete arrogance and disrespect on MULTIPLE levels, and its a surprise you got un-banned. I'm actually flabbergasted that you would say what you just said on a topic such as this, especially seeing the arguments which people just had. Your absolute ignorance actually disgusts me. "Just a bloody Rectangle"? You do realize that the World-Trade Centers were the tallest buildings in the world for years, and the tallest buildings in America until their collapse? They were an engineering wonder of the world, not "two rectangles".

Why do you rage about donations? Donations are a huge way of people making money to build their great creations, and a great way to get involved if you cannot actually build. I've personally donated, to various towns and projects, At-least 1,000,000 ecodollars in my time on E.C.C, including 250k to Aurora, 250k to Riverside, and various amounts of money and items to various other places. You act high and mighty because you think asking for donations makes someone "lazy"? I highly doubt any "great" work of construction on ECC could have been done without Money or Labor donated from others. There are very few examples of people who were even able to finish their work with donations, none the less without.

 

I agree brando that was a bit arrogant, and they were definatly not just rectangular buildings :/ That day was horrible and i think you should show more respect to it :/ But in brandos defense it does sound as if Miner is just using this as a selfish way to get a town without paying for it with his own money. He also never replied to me as of why he needs money for everything that he wants to build when he apparently has plenty of money in signs :/

 

Ike not to be a perfectionist but the sears towers were the tallest. but more to the point i couldnt agree more. im from new york and your words "just a rectangle" sicken me because of all the 1. damage 2. lives lost 3. fanilies destroyed and 4. all the lives lost. if this is your attitude to said catastrophe you must be a complete social pathic person. im not saying that you are nor am i "flaming you" im just voicing my opinion

 

This is utterly appalling, even sickening. I can't believe that someone who was just unbanned would be so loud mouthed about something that doesn't even apply to them. If you want to donate, then donate. If you don't want to, click the back button on your browser and read another post. Simple as that. Why is Miner being chastised for doing the same thing that outerlocal and hobobunny are doing with the Titanic. Over 1500 lost their lives with that ship sinking. Does that not matter because it was so long ago? No. I donated over $20K to that project because I think it will make the landscape of ECC that much more attractive to players, and more importantly, it pays homage to those who lost their lives. Same with this project. I will end up donating tens of thousands and will probably donate one of my 7 cities to Miner so that I can be proud this was built. Your comments were only meant to flame him, or degrade him because of his past actions. Due to this, I will make sure your services are never used in any of my cities. Ever.

Miner, pm me in game or on the forums so we can get you set up with what you need. I would also like to build something special dedicated to my fellow 343 firefighter brothers who paid the ultimate price that day.

The World-Trade center towers were the tallest buildings in the world for around two years, and much longer than two years in america. They were only beaten out by the Sears tower upon its completion.

I respect the people who died in 9/11, but MinerofCrafts isn't exactly the kindest/most honest person on the server.

I have seen him hack and curse at people, so I don't really trust him.

Why do you need mayor? You could buy a town for 60k, since you need money so badly. Also I remember you Pmed me aboout your over 500k Dollars in signs, and 600k in items. So I don't see why would you need so many donations?

Also, building the twin towers in minecraft (in my opinion) doesn't require much skill. I'll have to agree with Brando, they are... Well rectangles with rows of windows, not really pretty if you ask me. I would liked to see skyscrapers such as the Burj Khalifa, which in my opinion are truly architectural masterpieces.

I hope no one Misunderstands me, I truly feel sorry for the people that died at the 9/11, It's just I wouldn't trust any donations to MinerofCrafts, and building the twin towers doesn't require any skill, and I have seen them built in minecraft hundreds of times.

While Miner does not have the best reputation, it is to my memory that he has heavy emotion for the US military and 9/11 is a significant day to them. Stop assuming the worst of someone and being nasty. You're being worse than you make him out to be. Also, 98brando, why don't you go build one of the tallest buildings in the world before you start insulting others', especially one with such heavy emotion tied to it. I cannot believe you managed to insult nearly all of America in one post.
