So long story short, I got my first town after the reset and i'm thinking of going for a medieval style port city/town. Problem is i'll be needing some help with what has to come in the town: specific structures, landmarks,... I'll most likely put the to-do list of what I'll want in my town here aswell. If anyone has or knows a town that is heavely towards the medieval style or has an idea of what is a necesity in a medieval city/town please do tell me.
This is what I'm planning, have done or am working on: Defences Walls Towers Gates Accommodations Housing Bakker Lumberjack Fisherman Church Fletcher Blacksmith Butcher Farms Horse stables Entertainment Clocktower (warp) Marketstalls Port
Lol im a little late, but my inspiration for medieval builds is DukeOnRed1 (youtube channel) He has, hands down, the greatest builds and most realistic builds I have ever seen. You can learn a lot about medieval defences, layout, and just in general- how to build and get it to make sense.
Thx laggy for the advice. I'm currently following the build style of CCMC wich is more what i looked to build. DukeOnRed1 is nice and i'll look around his channel a bit, it's just his builds are for massive builds XD
Oh! He just makes large scale builds because they are more interesting to watch, but if you look through his channel you will find quite a few videos on smaller scale builds
To add onto @LaggyTryHard 's point, even if they are large scale builds, doesn't mean that there isn't anything that can help with smaller builds. My philosophy is "large builds aren't just one build, but smaller builds built together." (I use this philosophy for my novels as well). Even if you just get one thing from a large build, that is one step closer. There is nothing really wrong from using inspiration from multiple big projects to "Frankenstein" your own build.
Check out /warp lyra on Main, my friend @TheMansheep made the town, it's got kind of a medieval vibe to it!
