For those of you who are not already familiar with it, the Zodiac Story was a story that ran on the forums from late 2013 onwards, detailing the events of the Zodiac Nation. Although this story was concluded late last year and since that time all has been quiet within the Zodiac Nation, it is my pleasure to officially announce that I intend to start releasing a second instalment of the story early next year! Titled 'The Rise of an Empire', this second instalment will take place roughly one year after the end of the previous story, and will follow the Zodiac Nation in the aftermath of the Cerberus Disaster. Here's a few teasers of what to expect: The story will pick up from where the previous story left off, roughly one year after the Cerberus Disaster. Many characters from the previous story will be returning, including Keon Greeley, Cyrus Xander and Grace Dominic. There will also be some new faces, some of which I have already teased through the character profiles I have been releasing this month. Many previously unexplored colonies/stories will be expanded on. Look forward to finding out all about the founding of the Nation, The Caprican Social Revolution, The Leonis War, and the mystery of Aerilion (to name a few!) We will be looking at new ways to explore the story, and trying new methods of storytelling. (intentionally being vague here. Just wait and see) We've learnt from our previous attempts, and know what works well and what doesn't. Expect something of a much higher quality than when we first began! If you've never read any of our story before then you probably have no idea what I'm talking about, but we've conveniently just created a new story thread here which now allows for easy navigation to all lore relating to our nation, even if you're new to it. Look out for more updates over the coming weeks/months, and let us know what you'd like to see from the Zodiac Story in the comments below. I realise that these stories are not for everybody, but thank you to those of you who have shown an interest over the years, and I hope that you will enjoy what we have planned. Merry Christmas! The final surprise of the Zodiac advent calendar - I read the original Zodiac story a long time ago, it was great and inspired me to the Piville Story. This is a great information, @outerlocal - I really want to see how the story will continue.
