I'm not too far behind with 6.4 mil....I could probably catch him in a month or so...but I would rather join forces with him a la Pinky and the Brain....but I'm the Brain
Additional info: The maximum amount of money allowed by the Bukkit Essentials Plugin (I hope we are not using a modified version, this would make this post useless ^.^) is limited to 10,000,000,000,000,000,000 per user, if I remember right. I think it has something to do with the predefined size of a variable. Not sure though. So - how much per cent of THAT can we all earn? -3114 a.k.a. Pi-
There's no max limit, the numbers can go as high as the server's RAM can handle. Of course, it won't ever get this high on ECC.
Does that mean the server is not using the essentials plugin or at least not the default version of it? Quote from the essentials config.yml: # Set the maximum amount of money a player can have. # The amount is always limited to 10 trillion because of the limitations of a java double. max-money: 10000000000000 That's why I thought there was a max limit. -314 a.k.a. I think you guys may be forgetting that this includes any person who has ever joined the server. I think that the bottom 50% of people are inactive builders with 1k or less. I am not sure about the top, but I think that the bottom 50% of people only have about 5% simply because they probably are not online and have the money they earned in about 5 minutes. Another thing is that unlike the American and Canadian markets, a ECC player's rank of money is not what it should be. Net worth simply means your assets/equities + your additional money - your liabilities. To truly know this we would have to go through records of players' current assets and their market value. If one player has only $5 but owns a spawn- shop that is closest to the portal/spawn point, their assets add up to much more than $5. In short just doing /bal top or whatever it is, will not and can not accurately give even the slightest glimpse of their net worth. I understand you guys are just looking for estimates, but keep in mind what I am saying. Most importantly what I said at the beginning. The top 5% is really the top 10% when we account for all the inactive players with hardly any assets.
Since I guarantee that probably only 5% of the players that have ever played are still active, the statistic would bring a LOT of misunderstandings
