Well I just got scammed like this by a builder. I suppose it was fairly stupid of me to think I was buying a pumpkin axe for 5k. I think this recent trend is ridiculous. Yet what happenend you might ask? Nothing, KMaxwell simply dismissed the complaint stating with only the statement that he would sell you "my pumpkin axe", which could indeed mean the axe he uses for farming pumpkins, even if it isn't a max stat axe, we cannot take this complaint further."
It's kind of amazing as everyone has said, about the term "Pumpkin Axe." When I first started people calling axes this, I just assumed a melon sword was the max melon farming tool, that a "Pumpkin Axe" would be the same. I never call a Eff5 axe or any axe a pumpkin axe, and at first when I heard this, I thought it was a term to make people without a melon sword feel better...
This seems like an immoral thing to do in general. I mean seriously, can't we just make an honest living here on ECC, leave the scamming for irl
Wait... It doesn't say pumpkin axe in the star shop... There's a pumpkin above the sign, but that's not enough to say that that's a server definition. Man...
But all users know what one is, especially if they have been on the server for a long time. It's just a bad thing to do
It was just that I thought there was a legal precedent for the term "pumpkin axe." Tommy banned the scammer anyway.
