The buyer who pays the most for your Nether Stars is @BAEKDOOSAN at /warp wolftown! He buys your Nether Stars at a price of $850 per Nether Star! The average Nether Star buy price on Main went from 963,64 per star to 959,16. the sell price went from 785 to 764,06! Here's a chart of the Nether Star prices on Main: On to MainNorth! The cheapest (stocked) Nether Star seller is @daddyepic! He sells Nether Stars for $850 each! The buyer who pays the most for your Nether Stars on MainNorth is @JustTooPro4U! He buys for $850 per star! The average Nether Star buy price on MainNorth went from 1002,50 per star to 967,58 per star, and the sell price went from 820,41 to 788,33 per star! The average Nether star buy price on MainEast went from 960,83 to 922,50, and the sell price went from 791,66 to 738,33! May's Minewars was quite a hit! About 20-30 people showed up, to either watch the fun, or partake in the bidding! @Karin_88 brings us a few interviews with the winners, and some of the best locker wins! The person who got the most lockers this time (3 total!), was @EtherealSquid. He paid out a total of over 1.6 million He won locker #'s 4, 6 and 9. He made off pretty well, winning two star tools! He got the star tool of choice (in locker #9), and a Star Bow (in locker #6). His other locker, #4, had "mostly a lot of melons and spawner keys". Not too bad, overall! @Unnbearable had never particpated in a Minewars before! He won locker #1, with a bid of ]410k! When asked if he was happy with what he won, he replied, "Yes, overall value was very close to what I paid for the locker." He won a $30 gift card, and an SG strategy guide! He says he'd definitely participate in Minewars again. @kenny0011 won two lockers this time, #'s 5 and 7. Unfortunately, when bidding on locker #7, he had a bit of a typo; he bid 600k, instead of 500k. He ended up winning the locker at that bid. The best thing in the locker, he said, was "around 150k in iron blocks". He said this to whether or not he'd participate in Minewars again: "Probably yes, but this time not be an idiot and overbid". @DeenoTwelve won two lockers, one being the premium locker! He won that one with a bid of 1.9 million! Overall, though, he paid out over 2.3 million; the most money bid by a single person that night! When asked what the best things were in each locker, he replied, "The best thing in the premium locker was a star rod and the best thing in locker #2 would be the pixel art in /warp azarath on main built by @SplayTick." The last winning bidder of the night was @zwunder, who won locker #'s 3 and 8. He paid out a total of over a million for the lockers! When asked what some of the best things were in the lockers, he said, "Probably just the sheer ridiculous amount of diamonds in locker 8, there's nothing like doubling down on a single item like that." Usually one of the community locker bidders, he said this was his "first time bidding since probably 2012". The other person who won a locker, #10 at 510k, was @taddortot. However, he did not respond to the interview. Also taking place this week was the Spleef event! Two events were held, one for off peak and one for on peak. @Karin_88 has written this report. May's Spleef Tournament was a hit! Tons of people signed up for both on- and off-peak; many of the contestants playing both times. As described in the sign-up thread, this Spleef tournament was called "Swiss Tournament Style", and it meant each member that signed up played 4 rounds. "Final match-ups will be determined by points won, after the 4 rounds the top 8 scoring players will compete in elimination rounds for the top prizes!", event-runner @ClarinetPhoenix posted, explaining how the winners and final matches were figured out. The prizes were the following: 1st Place: $40 GC or 400k ECD 2nd Place: $30 GC or 300k ECD 3rd Place: $25 GC or $250k ECD 4th Place: $20 GC or $200k ECD Players also won 5k for each match they won!
