We really don't need that many mod interviews. Number 1, there are around two dozen staff, you would run out of people to interview pretty quickly, depending on which edition you put it in, weekly or monthly. Number 2, 99% of the non-builders already know tons about the staff, who they are, ect ect. Staff are the most well known people on ECC.

You have to dive into the unknown area, sniff out a mayor or two that don't use the chat system at all/rarely. Talk to the people that 99% of the server doesn't know about.

Yes, I'd love to see a Da_Tirtow interview, and a welikeike22 interview, but i also want to see an interview of johndoe99 who just got his town and is looking for residents. An interview of bob5000 who wants to get his name out there.

Interviews of the stars and the common folk. The ecoleaders and the residents. The millionaires and the thousandaires.

I love the idea here it seems like a pretty cool thing to have buuuuut I'm not sure using the same strategies as a failed business is a good idea. You might want to rethink your pricing standards.

This seems like a great idea. Id like to be a part of it. I could be the writer or reporter. I have great writing skills, winnin first and second place in distric wide writing. I have been told numerous times in a great writer. I have a bunch of ideas that could make the paper better and more attractive to buyers. Mail me.

Yeah, I've got this writing class going on atm. They rate each paper in 6 areas (word choice, ect ect) and you get a 1 through of 5 in each area and an average. I've done 5 papers so far and my overall average for points is 4.86 out of 5 possible.

Although I love to write, newspaper writing isn't really my thing, and I'm usually busy on ECC.

I'd like to meet you in game sometime FiFyFoFumOtter Perhaps we can trade ideas :D

I will be able to contribute some books as well on behalf of the Nations of Richland and Portland. I would love obscure people interviews.. but because I have not been here that long, I would enjoy an occasional mod interview as well!

My partner and I are very active in the beef business (and now chickens) and have 100s of pieces of leather and feathers to assist you in this. Anxious to see a first copy!

    From a business standpoint:

Also, I believe, tho have not learned how, that there is a way to quick copy a book once it is written. Perhaps you could charge people a different rate that come in with their own books to get a copy of the newspaperm (if this is correct). Maybe offer the newspaper both ways? You provide the entire book for a larger price per issue and a discounted rate for those who turn in or provide their own book/n/quills to obtain a copy (if it is doable).

Not sure I would pay for an extended subscription yet but would be more comfortable buying 1 issue at a time. I would also suggest that you keep copies of older issues as those that missed one might wish to come in and purchase a copy of a past issue. Just to be able to have a complete set.

I wish you lots of luck with this. It sounds like great fun and I would love to be first in line for your #1 Issue!

I read your post, quite interesting.
If i got $25 or $40 or whatever off the price if i provided my own book, i would definitely do it.

Also, i believe he should keep a chest full of "First Edition" newspapers.
If someone wanted to buy an earlier edition, they would have to pay an extra $75 or something, because then grant would go have to riffle through the chest, find edition #4 and copy it.
