6, no 7 Reasons Why The Blue Jays Lost Yesterday (August 14):
    1. People over-estimate an overrated player, David Price (He gave up 11 hits, guys).
    2. But that isn't all Price's fault, Gibbons doesn't know when to pull a pitcher.
    3. Not just Tulowitzki, but the whole team rarely took their chance with a RISP.
    4. Aaron Sanchez can't pitch when he inherits base runners (gave up a 3-run home run :p).
    5. No long balls? C'mon guys! You are known for dem' home runs!
    6. They just couldn't pick up on that slider...
    7. An Umpire can't give even the littlest **** about what is a ball and what is a strike.

Whenever the Blue Jays play against the Yankees, the strike zone
    drastically changes.
Wow. A ball that is 4 or 5 inches off the plate is called a strike, and mostly when the Blue Jays are up to bat.

Blue Jays Lose Twice In A Row, And Lose My Faith
The Blue Jays lose 2 in a row, after an 11 game win streak. Quick fact, the Blue Jays franchise record for a win streak is 11, and they have gotten 11 in a row 6 times now. Why didn't they get 12? Check my last post. But, with their 2nd loss in a row, I am questioning if they can keep the playoff spot. I found that there we 3 main reasons why they couldn't take the W today, and here they are:
    1. The starting pitching was OK, but they gave up a lead early, which in my opinion cost them confidence.
    2. Relieving Pitchers gave up the win, because they can't keep runners off the bases.
    3. They just couldn't string hits together. They would get 1 or 2 every 3 innings, but couldn't get any hits together, to get a run. They scored just 1.
Now, I'm not completely off the ban-wagon. These last two losses were somewhat caused by new starter pitchers. So if the Jays can get some runs (and some home runs! I haven't watched a Jay hit one out for a while :p), can the veteran pitchers get some wins in the upcoming games? You tell me!

Hey, sorry for no posts in a while. Had a small road trip. So, here are some things to look for on their next trip to Anaheim:
    1. Can David Price come back from a disappointing start to end the Jays 11 game win streak?
    2. The end of the line-up coming through for the Blue Jays: Ben Revere, Cliff Pennington, and even David Price hitting. Can they set up the big hitters at the front of the line up?
    3. The MVP race between Josh Donaldson and Mike Trout!
    4. The rivalry and importance within this series, as the Jays are 3 games ahead of the Angels in the wild card race.
    5. David Price's changeup. The Angels are the worst in the Major Leagues at hitting off-speed pitches, and Price has a dazzling Change-up.

    Wow, what a series!
The Blue Jays Sweep sweep the LA Angels in a 3 game series!
Things I was amazed by throughout this series:
    1. The hitting exploded. Everyone, even (as I call him) no-hit wonder Kevin Pillar joined in on the hitting. Unlike the last series, they could string together hits to manufacture runs.
    2. The Angels just can't field! Wow, there were so many errors on LA's side. And even better (and mostly never), they took advantage of those opportunities and got more runs.
    3. The Jays take 1st place again! I didn't expect this.
    4. How R.A Dickey settled in after the first inning in this last game. He gave up 5 runs in the first inning, but allowed very little base runners after that.
    5. How Josh Donaldson blew Mike Trout away in the MVP race! Josh got hit after hit, leaving Trout in the dust, who hit less than .200 in this series.

I wouldn't be surprised he may reach 125 RBI's, all he needs is #1 Home Runs and he will be more than MVP, he will own AL. lol

And you have to thank the rest of the team for the work, getting on bases, and scoring homers also. a team is a group not a person. although I think we need a new manager soon lol.

Yeah! Donaldson is creeping up the HR leaderboard with 34. Nelson Cruz has 37. Now - Who am I?
"Deap drive! Get up ball! Get up! Goooone!"
