Er, essentially I left the sg server whilst in a sg map lobby via the /server main command. About an hour later, I felt like playing again so I rejoined the server with the /server sg command, which put me back in the server on the map lobby again, only I was able to move freely while anyone else who joined was locked in place as players should be in the pregame mode.

Yeah, this happens when you log out of the SG server before exiting the arena properly - such as switching to the main server. You can get yourself out by joining a sg via /sg join and then /sg leave if you actually don't want to play. But realistically we should see about making this not a thing. @andrewkm is there any way we can get users forced to the spawn when they join the sg server? If they leave the server during a game in progress it should register as a death and remove them from an active game. The issue is when they log back in they spawn back into the sg maps and are able to move around, break stuff and in general disturb the active game if its happening.
Would like to add that if you do /sg leave you will just spawn inside the arena again, even if you die. Had to wait for the game to finish before I could go to the lobby.
