One thing about #3: Its safer usually to purchase stocks that are above $25, so it won't make as much of a difference. However, I do like the earlier start time, as I could buy/sell before school instead of sneaking during class.

I don't see why limitations are at all necessary. I think we should be allowed to trade anything on any exchange at any time and as frequently as we want. What's the purpose of limiting us in any way? Also, use real-time data if you're worried about people timing this market.

 

Why should they be concerned about the quality of your investments? It isn't even real money.

Why should I not? Like many others, I use the stock trader to profit. Of course people would care about quality investments. We work hard for the money, why would you want to waste it? Obviously you don't understand that this is a Hardcore Economy Server , it takes time and effort to get ECD.

 

We should be able to decide for ourselves weather a stock is profitable. We don't need someone to filter out stocks that are 'too cheap to be worthwhile', my broker certainly doesn't and I assure you that my ACTUAL money took me much longer to earn than the money on this minecraft server.

 

In no way am I saying that we need to have a filter, and I never said anything likewise. You have the full right to decide what stocks you want to buy, as I don't care, and don't have the power to stop you. I'm sure IRL money takes a lot longer to earn, thank you for telling me. I am in favor of this suggestion being implemented, but I don't see why you must nag me about it, unless you're against what goblizz has to offer.

 

The reason limitations are necessary is that there are many exploits within the plugin. There originally weren't many limitations but they were added due to those exploits. If you ask why it isn't fixed if I'm right it's due to these exploits require completely rewriting the plugin.

 

What sorts of exploits?

 

I think if it's good enough for the major exchanges, it's good enough for this one.
